We loved this spot for a tour. Very traditional Chateau, well restored and historic. It's family owned now. What you should go for is the GARDENS! Beautiful. Fountains, mazes, flowers, hedges, veggies, trees. WOW! A nice stop when touring the area.

My wife and I visited Villandry today and absolutely loved it. The history you learn inside the Chateau was interesting, but the real star was the gardens...they were absolutely amazing! We were a little worried visiting in November that we would not be able to...More

For the gardener and history buffs this is a must. Little bit hilly in places for the disabled, may be too difficult for many. There is a snack bar just before entrance which sells excellent food. My wife will never tire of this place.

Villandry is a beautiful family-owned château. It is a wonderful spot to enjoy and its gardens are breathtakingly stunning! The cafe at the château is lovely as well. Truly a delightful stop.

This garden is exquisite. The chateaux setting with water adds to the ambiance. The garden is well structured with trees, vegetables and flowers. Of note is the view of the potager and flowers enclosed in box hedging, best viewed from above. Everything is well kept...More

This Château is really special. Visit the rooms in the chateau. And marvel of the beauty of it all. But the gardens are the real treat. What perfection is achieved here!

Located a stones throw from the village of Villandry. Plenty of nearby parking available outside the Chateau. We were fortunate enough to visit on a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies so we got perfect views of the wonderful geometrically designed gardens. You are...More

The chateaux is very well preserved and the garden is way more beautiful than the one in Versailles. There is a couple of swans in the pond and very well maintained paths to stroll throughout. Must See!!!
