A beautiful tribute to the 49,900 young men who lost their lives in WWI - The Great War. The park was peaceful as it was beautiful.

Incredibly, I'd never been here before and it's only a stone's throw from the city centre. Well recommended to spend an hour strolling by the Liffey, or for a picnic, but also to pay respect to those who lost their lives in the great war.

Peaceful and respectful. Well laid out and Lovely well maintained gardens. If you have an interest in military history then do take the time to visit here and pay respects to the Irish men and women.

It must be 30+ years since I last visited. Thankfully it has been fully restored and now serves as a fitting tribute to the almost 50,000 Irish who died in World War 1.

Attended the RBL National Day of Commemoration there last Saturday and found the ceremony to be very moving. The gardens are in top class condition and everything is well kept .

Dedicated to the 50,000 Irishmen who gave their lives in WW1. This beautiful garden is a somber reminder of our past. It is a quiet place to stroll around the monuments and reflect. On both of the Big B Buss routes.
