We, unfortunately, arrived too late for admission to the building (they close earlier than other historic sites we had visited); but, as we were going to visit the Necropolis, we walked around the cathedral looking for photo ops. Oh my goodness! Every vantage point was...More

Supposedly the burial site of a missionary from early Christian times. Parts of the Cathedral are well over a thousand years old. Everything is very well documented so you see practically the whole of Scotland's religious history from Catholicism to Presbyterianism.

Prominent Cathedral overlooking Glasgow. Very sombre looking from the outside, and lovely features once inside. No Entrance Fee, but Donation welcomed.
