The view is incredibly beautiful. And our guide was Erin, she’s so has so much energy and know well. We discussed about the song, Caledonia, Loch Ness monster so many things and she was so helpful. I love her!
Graham was my tour guide and he was absolutely phenomenal! He gave great reviews for the towns we were staying in and he took us to all of the best spots in the Highlands. He gave us plenty of time to explore and he gave...More
I arranged the 5 day Best of Scotland Experience tour for myself and three friends from Arizona. We all had a terrific time, thanks to (primarily) good weather and our tour guide/drive John McCullough. We covered 800 miles in 5 days, and saw and did...More
Today I am back in Edinburgh after my three-day tour. Thank you John McCulloch for a fantastic tour. If anyone's thinking of going to the Highlands, get John McC as your guide. He's knowledgeable, an excellent driver (a good thing!), And is expert at managing...More
Although it was a long day(12 hours) we really enjoyed it. The highlands were beautiful, loch ness and Urquhart Castle we loved too, and a 10 minute presentation has a lovely end, so worth watching before you walk round the ruins.
Would recommend paying the...More
An absolutely wonderful trip that takes you all over some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, from Edinburgh to Inverness and everywhere in between.
Because of the distance that we covered there wasn't a lot of walking time, and most of our time was...More
We did this tour in October 2019. The scenery was great, the trees just starting to change colors. It was cool, so we were glad we had gloves, hats, and scarves. We did the add on at the Castle and the boat tour of the...More

This tour is money well spent. It’s long and you see alot of Scotland. The driver David was incredible. Always felt safe and he had difficult roads to drive on. Catherine was our guide and she was exceptional too. Very knowledgeable. She keep the tour...More
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.

Hi there, B&B ensuite & hotel options do not dictate bed size, as these vary from location to location. If you have a specific request please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Of course there is travel time because you travel from Edinburgh and back. However, it didn’t seem like that much because we stopped a lot for places of interest, rest breaks, photo stops. You stay in B&Bs that are nice and clean four nights. We choose medium price not luxury and the accommodations were very nice. My only negative was getting everyone dropped off at each B&B because there was 30 of us and all couldn’t stay in one place and we had a few who were dropped off at hostels. Sorry I can’t give you are percentage of travel versus not traveling. We had a great time.
Sorry I’ve only done the Loch Ness trip twice so not sure about the trip to Skye but I got the impression from the guides that any of their trips would be great so I wouldn’t worry but just phone up they will tell you
