Very interesting and informative ship with lots of interaction. Only marked it down by a point because the dry dock is now closed and the café has also closed down. We really wanted to walk into the dry dock and this was very disappointing. However,...More

Had a very enjoyable visit to HMS Caroline, lots of interesting history and my 12 year old loved it so it’s not just for older visitors. Some good interactive stuff on board as well. Staff were all very friendly and we had a nice coffee...More

We had a really interesting visit to the ship where many aspects of life onboard are brought to life. You felt you knew the people that had served on her and gained a great feel of life onboard this historically significant ship.

HMS Caroline is the only survivor from the only major sea battle in WWI - the scale of the conflict, number of ships involved (and exploding), and casualties, was mind blowing. Tour on board starts with a very impressive film explaining the battle - massive...More

This is a good chance to walk around the ship, but it is not an extraordinary exhibit. Pleasant enough, but if you are short on time, give it a miss.

We visited this ship on a whim and found it much more interesting than we expected. You get a ‘point and click’ audio guide when you buy tickets- basically you just point the audio guide at something of interest, click the button, and it plays...More

I walked from the Titanic Museum to this little gem. Just follow the 'Titanic Trail' along the shore for about 10 minutes (you also catch a glimpse of a Game of Thrones set on the way. The 'hop on, hop off' bus also stops at...More

Yes I'm nearly sure it does, the audio is excellent for an in depth understanding of the ship but your family would still love the experience if French is not available. Enjoy your visit in my opinion it's very worthwhile.
