This is a very popular place to visit, so be prepared to queue. The buns, were excellent. We had the 2 tier afternoon tea but make sure you've got room as they're quite big buns!

Very good food. I had the beef trencher, and it was tasty. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. We were not rushed at all.

If you love history you have the oldest house in bath, a history of a local eatery in the 1600s and stalagmites all in one place. We tried four different buns which were all delicious. Service was good. Loved the ambience.

Reviewed this establishment in 2013 and am pleased to advise it is still as good as it was 6 years ago. The meals are terrific as evidenced by the queue at lunchtime waiting for a table. The people working here are friendly and very efficient...More

The museum is in the cellars of Bath’s oldest house - access is via a small staircase only. We are very friendly to everyone but access for those with mobility issues is not easy.
