The bridge of sighs supposedly named thus due to students sighing as they went across it to write exams is a beautiful link between 2 buildings on either side of the road belonging to the same college. It adds interest to an already remarkable streets-cape.
Just near the Bodlean Library and close to the end of Broad Street this is a great photo opportunity. Probably not an idea though to sit down in the middle of the street as some tourists did - presumably to get the perfect perspective.
The Bridge of Sighs is a must see, but really it's just a bridge, so don't expect anything more than that. Lovely architecture though !
The number of tourists taking photo's of it is pretty insane, so it's always good to just watch them for...More
