Just when you think there aren't more beautiful areas in London, I come across this canal visiting friends in Islington. We came at night and walked a bit, and I learned how the canal is so central to folks. And how people on house boats...More

We were visiting a friend who lives in a house right next to the canal so we decided to go for a long walk along the path. So many things to see including houseboats and wildlife. Highly recommend!

Given the recent great summer days, we decided to do this walk from little Venice Maida Vale to Regents park . Part of which disappeared through a tunnel at the end of Bloomfield Road. You the have to navigate to Lisson Grove along the road,...More

A lovely place to have a peaceful and relaxing walk. It's a very popular place for cycling and jogging as well as just walking. There's lots of sights to look at. You can also enjoy a boat trip to King's Cross. Worth a visit.

I'd been to London but always too busy to take this delightful canal ride through Regents Park. So glad I did it this time! Absolutely charming with the quiet water, lush greenery, as well as the fascinating canal boats and mansions lining the way.

Enjoyed a lovely walk along the canal from Paddington station to Regent’s Park. The canal paths were wide and clear. It was good to see the houseboats moored on the canal and watch other boats pass by. A peaceful and tranquil part of London.

Good walk if the weather is on your side. Makes changes to walk along the canal and have a break away from all the huddle from the city. Definitely more peaceful to say the least.

We walked from Paddington station to Camden. A very pleasant walk in good weather. Other than a short stretch it is away from the traffic. There are cyclists and joggers but canal bank is wide enough for everyone. There are benches along the way to...More

Hidden away from the road and draped in shade, the world slows down on the canal. Slow moving waters, a barge going downstream passing another going upstream. Just so relaxing to walk along the canal.

This idyllic canal is a delight and the houseboats and barges on it are great, flower-filled and lovely. The cyclists seem to feel they own the path, which is not really true....

Hi, during the weekends it's quite crowded, so if you can arrange it, go there on weekdays.

This question has got me beaten! Malcesine is on Lake Garda and a very nice town too. However no hotel is mentioned and why is it posted on the Regents Canal page?
