Spend the extra 5 pounds and see the newly opened exhibit in the top of the cathedral. Take your time in the main areas-there are so many incredible carvings and wooden figures. No photography is allowed, so you will really be in the moment.

The verger tour is worth the 7 pounds, helps to explain some of what you are exposed to. Get there early. They give you a audio guide with your admission. Find Hawking's burial location.

We attended the Evensong choir service at Westminster Abbey & loved every minute! We sat and absorbed the voices, the acoustics, the stained glass, & the surrounding beauty of the architecture.

We have been waiting some time to have opportunity to visit Westminster Abbey. It was well worth it. The new exhibition upstairs is well worth the additional fee. Some amazing artefacts are to be seen.

The building itself is incredible but the history and the range of famous people buried there were the most amazing part. We were lucky to catch the tour as it was starting so we were able to see many of the tombs of the kings...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
