Nelson column is a truly impressive monument to a great statesman and hero of the country. I particularly like the statues of the lions at the base of the monument.

In Trafalgar Square are other famous folk statues, lions and fountains, but nothing beats Nelson's column lording over all below and so he should, excellent and iconic London place to visit.
