Did a tour that started near here and then walked around the market afterwards. Great architecture and people watching. The market is different by day and some really cool local vendors. Well worth a visit. Great history in the nearby area too.
Wandering from Liverpool Street station we headed up to shorditch we noticed on the right entrance into Spitalfields go on then we will have a nosy around and it’s just after 1pm thinking of something to eat ... well first off anazed at the inside...More
Really nice market and foodcorner. Was quite busy at their foodcorner, some of the foodstands even soldout most of their menu. So recommend to go a little earlier on the day if you want to have a full selection! I ended up eating a bowl...More
Was here yesterday for a Lindy Hop Swing dance event under the sails here at the market organised by Swing Patrol in memory of Frankie Manning’s birthday so this was a free event to the public and dance enthusiasts.

On the way to Shoreditch, we came across Spitalfields. It was different and nice to be at on a Sunday. Not as crowded as Covent Garden. Nice restaurants and also street food. Would like to spend some time there next time.
Large number of shops for clothes/textiles
Large number of food stalls of all cuisines. This was the best part. We tried out several and the food was incredible
The market has a covered roof so there is no concern during rain
Expect crowds on the weekends. Interesting stores, shops and booths for shopping and browsing. Large variety of diverse street food
Friendly atmosphere. Families with children, couples and singles all appeared to enjoy them selves at the market
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs. Wedged
between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
