An opportunity to Vietnam to showcase works of art undertaken by disabled artisans of which a number are working on the premises & others working off-site. Some of the injuries or conditions suffered by the artisans are significant & to see them overcome this is...More

The folks who hated this place must not be very good art shoppers. Sure, there is a lot of schlock. But if you take the time to look carefully, there are some wonderful works of art, by disabled artists who deserve support. We bought an...More

The trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay takes about 4 hrs with a 30 minute stop each way in a Workshop for Disabled People or the Hong Ngoc FineArt Center where overpriced Vietnamese crafts like lacquer ware, scarves, limestone carvings and knick knacks as well...More

This is a chain of Four large shops throughout the north. There prices are Ridiculously overpriced. It is midway between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay. Good spring rolls and salads. Very good ginger tea.

Tour stopped off here on the way back from Ha long Bay. Seemed very commercial and expensive. Lots of arts and crafts would question the authenticity of many of the items though. Fresh spring rolls great value and the drip coffee with condensed milk went...More

Didn't stop here for food. However, we did stop to enjoy the art that was being created, some fantastic pieces. They deliver for a reasonable price. The facilities are not excellent, however, you're more there for the art.

A horrible forced stop during our tour. They mixed up every single order and none got what they actually ordered. In the end we just ate whatever we got since they didn’t understand english. Half of the food was so premade that they served it...More
