Had the best day here. Stunning, breathtaking, beautiful. Could spend all the time in the world here. 7 waterfalls. Takes a while getting to the top, but its worth it. There are fish in the water so prefer for them to be nibbling your feet....More

Good place to visit on a hot day. Track gets difficult near the last 2 or 3 falls so good shoes (& knees!) recommended. Muddy in places after heavy rain followed by 2 days of no rain, but not too slippery Reasonable fitness level makes...More

My friend and I spent a week in Bangkok. The 3 1/2 hour drive to Erawan was absolutely worth it! I love hiking and this place is beautiful. We went on a week day and it wasn’t too crowded.

The waterfalls are undoubtedly beautiful, but there are arguably some diminishing returns to be had the higher you go up; certainly, 5 & 6 didn't offer much of a spectacle in comparison to the lower levels. As others have pointed out, the nibbling fish are...More

For some time away from the hubbub of the big cities, a 3 hour drive out of Bangkok takes you to the Erawan National Park, about 69km past Kanchanaburi. Located next to the Sinakharin dam (a short drive away and worth a visit for the...More

You don't need snorkelling shoes as such but any good quality trekking shoes should suffice.

Yes it is possible to visit Eravan falls and be back in Bangkok in one day. Hire a private car. Start between 630am and 7am. We did the same so can anyone. Enjoy.
