Stopped here to observe the changing of the guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This is done hourly on the hour. Very moving to watch.

This is an impressive memorial, and it is clearly guarded with affection and reverence. Set overlooking the canal it is a real focal point in the city and the hourly guard changing is simple yet moving and carried out with precision.

I had seen photo's and video of this monument before but seeing it in person took my breath away. It is a true work of art, and extremely moving to be there in person.
