On the hour for most of the day there is a changing of the personal guarding the National War Memorial. This is a moving site to observe.

Parliament Hill houses the Canadian Parliament. Great part of the buildings are under renovation right now, but you can still do it the tour to the House of Commons and the Senate. We did House of Commons and it was great.

We are not greatest lovers of tours but the tour of the Parliament was excellent. Well worth it - and free.
