Easy but limited parking in the village or at the track head, good public toilet in the village. A nice level track to the viewing point, best visited for sunset, spectacular view.

The view is breathtaking. There is a puffin colony along the cliff and it’s possible to take photos of them using just phone cameras. When the wind is strong it pushes the water from the falls to go up making the view even more dramatic.

Yes it is a delightful waterfall. Really nice walk from the car park along the coastal track and we had coffee in the cafe. It was an Instagramers must stop!

The scenery and the waterfalls are exactly as you would see it in the photos - if the weather permits it. We were lucky because when we arrived the clouds parted and the sun was shining! So we had the most wonderful time there. Very...More

If you've ever been on Instagram you've probably seen 150 pictures of this place. It's so hyped up and looks so amazing that spots like this can easily be disappointing. I can tell you with certainty though that Mulafossur next to the village of Gasadalur...More

This is worth a stop to see. It is free to walk the trail out to see the beautiful waterfall. There is a trail that continues up the bluff with great views of the shoreline and the sunset. At the top of the hill there...More

This is one of those rare magical places. It’s really easy to get to and doesn’t require a long hike (or even a long walk). It’s even more beautiful than the photos. Don’t miss it!

This is a beautiful waterfall on a stunning part of the Faroes. One of the best parts is that it's so easy to get to, which you can't say about many of the beautiful sites on these islands.

Well mainly peaceful apart from the strange gaggle of photographers waiting for hours to take a sunset photo. The drive to the village of Galsadalur is nice enough arrived at by a disconcerting drive through a single lane tunnel that you then exit into a...More

Yes, but it will take about a week and require hiking over very steep mountains.... The town Gasadalur (Where the waterfall is located) is 60km away from Torshavn, and used to be the most remote village in the Faroes until... More
