A wonderful place filled with so much inspiration. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the house a simple yet perfect for lovers of modernism.

I almost don't want to write a review, to keep this less overrun and inaccessible, because of numbers of tourists like the Kahlo house. These are three gem-like structures very reflective of architectural design in their era of construction. Clearly influenced by Bauhaus and Rietveld,...More

These exquisite two properties, and the O'Gorman house which is next door, are utterly ruined by the installation in several of the rooms of completely irrelevant exhibitions, albeit of sculptures, paintings etc by some really interesting artists. BUT, I came her to experience Frida &...More

The studio of Diego Rivera is pretty small, but still a nice place for a small stop in order to admire the building and the house itself. You can only enter part of it and it does not contain that much information, but still a...More

Minimal interpretive material, exhibits a bit confusing. The museum mostly shows off the architecture of the complex, but sheds little light on the lives and work of Rivera and Kahlo..I’m sure other venues do that. The lighting and legibility of the few of Rivera’s sketches...More

If you are a Frida or Diego fan, then you need to go. If you're into architecture, then go as well. The entire compound has been well-maintained. How Frida hobbled up and down the stairs, I have no idea. Visiting this place you begin to...More
