This beach actually has pink sand! It's gorgeous! The sand is developed from the rose quartz that washes down because of the seawater that creates the sand to be pink. This is a beautiful beach that at the time I was there decades ago it...More

We anchored here on our last night for our bareboat charter. On the northwest side of the island there is a nice beach area that provides an excellent view of the sunrise. There is a narrow passageway if you have a large draft (our's was...More

The pink conch shells broken down over thousands of years to pin-point size give this beach and its horizon a pink color. Soft as sugar and gorgeous colors of aqua blue surf. Calm waters. A must see. Accessible by golf carts. So glad we went...More

Beautiful location, but slightly overpriced at the Bar/Restaurant. I will say the BEST way to get here is by Chartering a boat with Island Time Charters. The best boat crew and company in the Bahamas. These guys made our trip the unforgettable experience that is...More

Sandy Toes have very helpful customer service, friendly staff, and great activities on the island! I and my guests from Ukraine enjoyed swimming, snorkeling in crystal clear water (there are especially many fan corals of different colors), and interaction with pigs (here, you'll probably have...More

We went to Rose Island on 05/29/19. It was a 5 hour excursion and of course the waters were amazingly beautiful. Unlike the advertisement, there is no swimming with the pigs. They only bring out two at a time and they lure the pigs out...More

We booked an inexpensive tour on Viator that included lunch.

We came to this Island on a private boat 47 years ago, in March of 1972. It was completely deserted at the time, just us. There was a “ruin” of a beautiful hotel on the Island at the time. Would love to know the history this hotel. There was also a concrete dock on the far side of the Island that we tried to tie up to. The metal moorings came out of the dock and we nearly sank our boat. The tide was so strong and we couldn’t get out that night. Had to anchor off shore. There was another boat ( sailboats) also anchored and we tied up to them for the night. We riacked violently all night long. Was such a memorable experience. We are coming to Nassau on a cruise in April and hopefully we will have time to revisit this beautiful Island. Would need a private tour as we arrest 7:00 am and feoaroat 2:00. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
