Just enjoy a drive through or take a walk through the beautiful gardens. Probably the most impressive estate on the island.

Absolutely worth the visit and the batik they make there are the best souvenirs/presents that I brought home. You get a good feel for the workings of the plantation and the culture for better or worse, of that time period.

Grounds were beautiful however we would have loved to walk on the trails to really enjoy the atmosphere. Not really much to do. Stopped at the cute clean bar/restaurant right when you get the there, the Railway bar which made exceptional Pina Coladas😀

Thanks for your kind words. I’m guessing you were the folks from Tortola? It was a pleasure exchanging garden stories. I look forward to seeing your orchid trees. We hope you enjoyed our lovely island and that we will see you again.

We visited and found the gardens super. Not everything was tabled but enough to understand what could be native to the jungle on St. Kitts. Very much different from the low land beaches on the water where most of the people live. It was much...More
