My title says it all. We were up the ridge earlier in the morning so saw wildlife along the way and just the beauty of the area is breathtaking. Learned a lot about the area with the signposts in several places. Plenty of parking.

So thankful for the inception of the National Park Service and the preservation of these amazing places. We had the privilege of seeing Hurricane Ridge during the peak of fall color. Simply spectacular!
We were blessed with a clear, sunny day and were able to see for miles. The glaciers were visible. The air is crisp. You can take a strenuous hike or an easy hike. We enjoyed a moderate hike with our son and daughter in law.
