Chaotic but somehow organised

You really need to listen up for instructions when you arrive to ensure you get on the right boat/ferry. Yes it is chaotic as there are so many people going to different places. Just follow the call and you will end up on your way. We did Phuket to Ao Nang. Beautiful trip.

Rasada Pier

Very basic and chaotic, no wifi available. Food and drink basics. No stores to buy anything open when we were there at 1pm. We bought tickets online. Very disappointed at the dirtiness of the pier and water.

BUY TICKETS ONLINE NOT AT THE PIER

Buy tickets online is cheaper. At the pier they will rip you off: they charge you 1,000 for return tickets to Phi Phi island. Also be careful at the personnel on the boat, they are very rude and may threaten you if you don't tell them the name of your hotel.

Don’t use taxis when there’s a much cheaper option

Thailand has a similar app to Uber. It’s called Grab. My husband and I use it often and get much cheaper rides. Just thought it’d throw that information out there as I’ve read multiple reviews about the prices of taxis. We rarely ever use a taxi unless there is no grab drivers…
