This was just a quick visit to learn about the history and culture of the area. And all the funds benefit the community. It did change its name to the Gorilla Guardians Village.

After we got over the surprise welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and experiences at the Cultural Village. All the activities were very well done. It's a great way to interact and learn about the culture in the area.

We were entertained, shown how the pygmies here came to be, how they lived, dressed in Queen and King attire and when it started to rain, they came to cover us with umbrellas. It was highly entertaining, as well as supporting the village people.
