The lookout is interesting and access was free when we visited. As mentioned by some reviews, while the lookout provides great views, the glass floor did not overhang the cliff as much as initially expected. Nevertheless, it is worth a visit as it is one...More

We stopped off at this viewpoint on an island tour. The glass floor is not quite as scary as I had anticipated (although several people were reluctant to walk on it). The views are well worth the effort.

You have a wonderful view from there and don't have to pay anything for it. The glass floor is special but cool and worth a visit.

Ok viewpoint, expected the platform to be bigger, more hanging over the cliff. When there are not many tourists it is ok to visit, but otherwise it is not worth it. The view is great with good weather, but going there is disappointing as there...More

A bit of driving to the top where Gabo Girao is. The view is spectacular. Check closing time before you go up there. Washroom facility, shops and snack bar available.

There are many nice views in Madeira. So if you’re in the neighborhood make the small detour it is free of charge off season. The highlight is the glass bottom floor.

Viewpoint is easily accessible by car from the motorway and there’s plenty of parking. Entrance is free, although there are disused turnstiles so guess a fee was charged at some point? It’s a bit unnerving to stand on a glass balcony 560m up from the...More

It would be a long uphill walk. Better to take transport.

There is a service bus that goes there but infrequent. You can also take a bus to Miradour and walk about 10 mins to the viewpoint. Hilly. There is also the little green train from Camera Do Lobos to the viewpoint. Takes... More
