In JAN everything except proper Gangtok will be off limits due to snow. If you are fond of snow ,cold, sleet, and land slides ,blocked roads due to ice you may travel to Nathula pass and Baba temple,Lachen and Lachung etc provided you get some one to take you there. All these are about 12.5K to 17K ft high and are snow bound during winters. Confine yourself to lower areas and enjoy.
