I found the tour to be very simplistic. We arrived later in the day to long waits for the tour. You go in with a group of about 25 people, our best guess. Our “boarding” started at 5:00pm. You move through a series of rooms...More

My mother and daughter drove out to see the chocolate factory and we were not disappointed! After a 20 min or so history and tour, it was time to taste all the chocolates!! I highly recommend for all ages.

We visited Cailler on back to back days, doing the standard tour the first afternoon and learning to make chocolate bars the second day. The tour was one of the better ones I have done, enjoyed getting to touch and taste the various ingredients along...More

The tour focused on the history of chocolate but not really how they get the milk for the chocolate that makes Swiss chocolate the best. There were lots of samples which did make it worth it but overall it could use more focus on the...More

I own a chocolate shop in the US and I took a number of classes while in Switzerland on this trip, and this class was by far the best of all of them. In a beautiful kitchen with separate work stations for each student, Chef...More

Our family of four enjoyed the tour of the facility with the provided audioguide. Very interesting. Similar in some ways to the Hershey chocolate factory tour - though far less automated. At the end, there's a tasting room where you can sample the many varieties...More

I am sorry but there was no mention of a workshop for children during our visit. I am sure you can find out on their we4bsite or by emailing them.
