We stopped in Pyrgos a cute little village on the way to the airport. We climbed up the steps to the Castilli. It has very good views and lots of little cafes and restaurants. It was nice here after the busy crowds in Fira

Yes, Easter in Pyrgos is something special so I would recommend You contact the hotel of Your choice to check if they are open for the season and if they have any vacancies. (Season is mostly may-october). There are not that many hotels in Pyrgos itself , but the island is small so You may find accomodation somewhere in the neighbourhood.
