We leave the Grand Hotel on Vesterborgade at 09.30 and travel up the Beach Road, (Strandvejen) by luxury mini-bus to Helsingør, known as Elsinor in English. There you have time on your own to visit Hamlet's Castle, or the Maritime Museum. You can also visit The old town in the middle of Helsingør and Culture Wharf, where they sell delicious Danish open sandwiches. After Helsingør, we drive on to a ferry and sail across the Øresind Strait to Helsingborg and then drive down to the ancient City of Lund, where you can visit the Cathedral, which was consecrated in the year 1145. In Lund you can also take a walk around the medieval style streets or have lunch in one of the city's many restaurants. After Lund, we drive to Malmö, where you can do some shopping and see the Turning Torso, the tallest building in Scandinavia. Finally we drive across the impressive Øresund Bridge, back to the Grand Hotel, in Copenhagen.
