About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- X3304GDleef0 contributionsFantastic HolidayWe have just returned from a weeks holiday in Fuerteventura and stayed at the Arena Beach hotel. The food, room and staff were amazing and we will definitely return. We also want to make a special thank you to the rep in the airport who went over and above her duties to support me as I had arrived at the airport without one of our cases and passports and she arranged a taxi to get it transferred in order to catch our flight. Her name was Kirsty Crawley and she is based in Fuerterventura and she deserves a massive mention. We will definitely rebook our next trip with Jet2 as the cabin crew and airport experience was superb.Written 23 September 2024

- Happiness064026765090 contributionsThe rhododendron trek !The sudden views of Annapurna range whenever the skies cleared and the treks amongst the rhododendron and oak forests were so beautiful. The images stay with you a long time even after tour trek. Our stay was comfortable and the guides and staff were very helpful and supportive. Had a memorable trip.Written 25 April 2024
- Vacation343744544710 contributionsMy First Trek - Nepal - Poon HillThis was my first Trek and would definitely say I have made a right choice in selecting the Outdoes. The guides have taken very good care of each one of us and were always there with their smiles, hospitality and encouragement. The breathtaking Mountains view on the Poon Hill is a fantastic experience. In addition to this the stunning views of the lush forests, villages (especially Gandruk) and the colorful Rhododendrons with vibrant red, pink, and white, creating a stunning contrast against the lush greenery of the surrounding forests throughout the trek. Overall, trekking to Poon Hill is a memorable adventure that leaves a lasting impression.Written 23 April 2024
- Freedom159631381700 contributionsAnnapoorna Panorama trekIt was a very well organized trek, the guides, we had three of them, were very proactive and very encouraging, especially for the first timers. The views of the snowclad mountains and the rhododendron forests was amazing. The teahouses and hotel were very good clean and the food was good. Overall a wonderful experience.Written 23 April 2024
- dev_bina0 contributionsA very memorable trekI went with Outdoers for the Annapurna Panoramic Trek in March. It was a great experience. It was my first trekking experience. The Outdoers team comprising of Mahesh,Naresh and Prakash took good care of us during the trek and were very supportive. Even before the trek started, a WhatsApp group was created. We even had calls with Shyam to clarify all our doubts. The trek also allowed us to spend some time sightseeing at Kathmandu and Pokhara which was very nice. This trek has lots and lots of steps, which at times feel never ending. For the first 2 days of the trek the weather wasn't great and we didn't see any mountains. However the misty forest trails and beautiful rhododendrons made up for the lack of mountain views. Our patience paid off and on the 3rd day morning, the majestic mountains graced us. For the next 3 days we got good weather and the mountains kept us company till we left. All in all very memorable trek. I would definitely recommend the trek as well as Outdoers as a facilitator.Written 18 April 2024

- Companion132090764180 contributionsRhododendron Trek March 2024Outdoers have done a splendid job in meticulously planning the gorgeous Rhododendron trek. For a few of us, this is our first trekking trip and we were quite nervous. However, the itinerary was so well tailored and pragmatic that it boosted our confidence. Shyam connected with us regularly giving us tips and suggestions on how to prepare, what to expect, what trek gear to purchase and check list of things to carry with the minute details. It was a 5 day trek, through the dazzling Rhododendron blooms and the rustic beauty of the Himalayas. The stays were clean and very comfortable with breathtaking views of Himalayas. We were served hot piping tasty simple food at every meal. We camped 2 nights, in tents at Jaikuni Bhugyal enjoying the spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The entire team of drivers, cooks, porters, guides were extremely kind and helpful. Our guide Lokesh made this trek a wholesome experience with his knowledge on the flora, birds, local customs, beliefs. Lokesh was very supportive and patient. He even offered to carry my backpack, when I suffered altitude sickness. He would change the strategy based on our stamina and fatigue levels. We were really lucky to have him as our guide. Over all it was a perfect experience. Really thankful to the Outdoers team for giving us a lifetime of memories.Written 6 April 2024
- Odyssey519142366960 contributionsMagical Meghalaya experienceOutdoers has done has a great job in curating an amazing experience for us covering all the magical places Meghalaya, Shillong and Guwahati had to offer. More than the popular places, the remote places which the trip had to offer were the best ! The Christmas time also added a cute vibe to couple of places we stayed at! It was a good combination of trekking and a bit of relaxing as well.Took back a lot of memories from this trip! Thank u to Shyam and his team!!Written 24 January 2024

- NMinal0 contributionsOne of a kind ExperienceAndaman walking tour was a fantastic holiday with memorable experiences especially staying in Lalji Bay. It was the highlight of the trip where there were just us, nobody to accompany except the starlit sky and the andaman sea. Special mention goes for the drivers assigned for us. They were well informed and they guided us professionally. Outdoers understand our requirements well and arrange the trip according to our preferences and within our budget, yet gives one of a kind experience every time we travel with them. We are looking forward to many more such experiences in future with Outdoers. - N MinalWritten 13 December 2023

It was yet another beautiful experience with the Outdoers treks of which this is my first trekking trip to Binsar.. From the planning to the custom-made itinerary, the rustic homestays with ultra clean bathrooms, our super patient soft spoken guide Sunder , our cook at Gaunap Pawan and our driver Bishan singh ji were just perfect ...the homestays especially at Buranskot and Gaunap village with breathtaking views was an utter delight .. Hot served simple tasty food and Tea in that cold weather was a big welcome ..
Overall i was yet again very happy n satisfied with the professionalism shown by Outdoers team n Shyam ..I would highly recommend outdoers treks for a great travel experience and looking forward to use their services in the future too 🙌

This is my second trip with Outdoers, and they outdid themselves. We were lucky to have Sunderji lead the trip, who took us through forests, hills and villages. He showed us glorious sunrises and sunsets, golden sunrise views of Hathi parbat and nearby range, Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchhuli, from mesmerisingly close distance, with Nepal's Fishtail and Annapurna thrown in for good measure. The village walks were so informative and engrossing.
We participated in an extended family event at Gaunap...a twice a year Bhog that the entire village becomes a part of. We saw more sensational birds during this trip than I have in any birding trip. Sunderji showed us how a woodpecker had created homes for insects in a tree, just to gobble them up later. We even observed a Mountain Hawk eagle during its hunting session! It was spell binding.
Everything about this trip was well thought out and perfectly executed. Sunderji even made minor adjustments to the itinerary based on our interests, and paid attention to each and every participant individually.
The homestays have been lovingly renovated to ensure not just comfort in the midst of a jungle, but provide thoughtful features through attention to minor details. All this while being eco sensitive. From the bamboo wastebaskets to skylights above the washroom sink, to full size windows to let in the light. The rooms were really spacious , with most properties providing a large sitting area in addition to a spacious bedroom.
The local Kumaoni food was lip smacking! With locally grown freshest ingredients (many of them coming from their own gardens/farms), and a combination of traditional recipes, and Sunderji's personal take on some others, it was varied yet uniformly delicious. Sunderji himself cooked for us in some of the places, and took care of our preferences and individual querks at all times. Each tea session had multiple kinds of teas brewing for us.
The staff was warm, courteous and very efficient. Making us happy seemed to be everyone's moto...from top to bottom :)
I am definitely going back for more!!

The Outdoers team of Shyam and Sunder did a fantastic job of organizing a walk through the woods and stays at some amazing locations!
Having reached Kathgodam railway station, Sunder and his team took care of all the logistics until the return to Kathgodam five days later.
We stayed for four nights at three places / homestays - namely Kot Naikana (1), Buransh Kot (1) and Gaunap village (2). Over the course of this period, we trekked over 20 kms approximately in Sunder's company.
Amazing vistas, heart-warming hospitality and delicious culinary preparations (a special shout-out to Pawan here) made for an amazing vacation. Sunder was a welcoming host and his knowledge of the local flora and fauna was very impressive.
Above all, what impressed us the most was his passion, vision and corresponding efforts to make these tourism activities sustainable for all stakeholders who are involved in it and impacted by it.
A highly recommended trip indeed!May the Outdoers team thrive and prosper for years to come! Looking forward to partnering with them in exploring more places in the future!

After two years of being at home because of the pandemic, walking the trails in the Binsar Sanctuary was exhilarating. The teak and deodar forest, the crisp, cool air, the incredible variety of birds -- all so soul-nourishing.
And who better to help nourish our souls, stomachs and weary feet than Outdoers? Sundar was a kind and gentle host and guide. Encouraging as we scrambled up slopes, whipping out the local bal mithai to keep our energy up when we slowed down, and sharing his knowledge of birds with joy. The food was local and delicious, the homestays cosy.
This Outdoers walking holiday is a good way for a family or a group of friends to start exploring the outdoors.

This was the best birthday gift I gifted myself .The trek through the wild life santuary was the best experience ever . The guide was very good , he helped us spot beautiful birds and plants .It is indeed a nature lovers paradise .All home stay was beyond our imagination - Luxury in the middle of the forest , completely untouched by any commerialisation and excellent local food served to us with great love . We stayed in villages which were approchable by foot only. There were only 3 to 4 family homes in each mountain village and staying amongst them was a beautiful experience . Shyam was just a call away .He organised and planned our trip very well . The organisers gave me a surprise birthday cake along with a candle light dinner . It was a dream come true to celebrate my birthday in the mountains ! Thank You Outdoers !

I heard a lot about this trek from my friends and we were not disappointed at all. I went with my wife (we are both nearly sixty) and we managed to trek most of the days without too much difficulty.
First couple of nights were in a quaint little village Gaunap which had only 13 families. No pollution, no noise, no garbage - just enjoy the serene beauty of the forest and the distant mountains. I am an amateur bird photographer and the tour operator arranged for a guide who had excellent knowledge of the birds. I managed to photograph over 25 different species of birds.
Thanks Sundar and Khim Singh!
Astronomy is also one of my hobbies and I stepped out late in the night to do some star gazing. I was initially disappointed to see the bands of clouds across the night sky. However the clouds were stationery and it took me some time to realise that that I am actually looking at the milky way!
There is no dust or light pollution and sky felt like right out of the Star Wars movie with millions of stars visible to the naked eye!
Sundar is an excellent cook and managed to satisfy even a finicky eater like me.
We stayed in 3 different home-stays and all of them were very clean and comfortable.
This is my third trek with the Outdoers and they truly outdid themselves again!
Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Binsar with Outdoers.
From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in very capable hands. The places we stayed in were charming and comfortable, our guide Sundar was a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge on local flora and fauna, bursting into birdsong himself on occasion. The combination of the beauty of the place, the warmth of the people and the sheer exhilaration of being outdoors was incredible. The itinerary was flexible and completely at our pace. It was not too physically challenging and was perfect for first-time walkers like us.
So many parts of this experience felt like a labour of love rather than a commercial venture. After being confined to our apartment for the past two years, walking in the forest, with spotty mobile connectivity was just what we needed and Outdoers were absolutely the right people to do this with. No hesitation at all in recommending this to anyone.

Our experience with Shyam and his team for the Binsar trek was fantastic. Every aspect of the trip felt customized to our needs as a group, and their team went over and above to make the experience memorable.
The food and stay were excellent. The treks were also immensely enjoyable with knowledgeable guides. They took care to ensure that the pace was comfortable for all the kids and adults. I would strongly recommend Outdoers for this experience

Binsar is the first trek of my life and I am so glad I did it with Outdoers! In awe with the beauty of the place, Uttarakhand. The cute place , Burans kot at Shaukyatal, lovely sunset at Dhaulchhina , star gaze at Gaunap and the village tour were amazing!!
Beautiful locations and lovely home stays and even more amazing and warm people! We were served piping hot food in the chilly places and taken such good care of. The love and affection shown by the home stay people is to be definitely mentioned.
Sunder , our guide is a man of good information about the places, the flora fauna too and guided us well during the trek.
Would definitely recommend this trip and the Outdoers! Great work Shyam, keep it going. Will come back for more treks!!
