We really enjoyed class. It was really brilliant. I can thoroughly recommend it wholeheartedly. It was nice to not only learn the techniques but also to understand the background to the art. The lady giving the training knew her art very well and was skilled at passing her knowledge on.

Superb teacher "Critica" she was very patient and took us through the history and the method. We were then taken through the process of how and given practical tuition in the four types of Kolam.. I would highly recommend this to anyone..

Nice easy bike ride through the quarters of Pondicherry. The guide was enthusiastic and friendly. We learned a lot, and enjoyed the quite time of the day

It was not engaging or interesting. It was less than an hour and a half in terrible bicycles with little brakes or any adjustments to suit your height. It is memorable to me for cycling past people using the streets to go to toilet or lumps of feaces aswell cycled by.

The tour was an eye opener. Tour guide Manisha has an in-depth knowledge about Pondy. Wonderfully done. Even for regular visitors (like weekenders) I would suggest this tour

We had an absolutely delightful experience here. We attended a Creole Cooking class with Manisha - who was warm and friendly and a skilled, experienced cook! First we prepared the food, then we cooked the food, then Manisha served us the food on traditional banana leaf ‘plates’. Everything was fresh & delicious. Manisha was very respectful of our western palates and didn’t push us into anything too hot or spicy for our taste. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and absolutely recommend it without hesitation!

Wonderful morning and afternoon spent going around the market with the wonderful abd knowledgable Maneesha. I’ve been cooking Indian food for many years and know that Indian home cooked food beats restaurant food hands down and Maneeshas food that we cooked was delicious and very healthy. Highly recommended.

Lovely experience great teacher Heema thaught us the traditional ways of kolam or mandala drawings. We had a really good time and it was fun to learn. She also explained some of the history, gave us lots of practice and informed us how we could do this in Europe with similar powder.

SITA offers so many options to experience the real Pondicherry. We took advantage of 3 classes: - Kollam Making - Bicycle Tour - Creole Cooking We enjoyed all the classes and had a very personal experience as we were the only people in each of the classes. This made the classes even better as the teacher was able to customize the class to us. For example, we were on the bike tour and then we were in a cooking class so we purchased food for the dinner at the city market during the bicycle ride. While at the market the teacher bought me my first custard apple. The teacher also adjusted the menu for the cooking class to fit the dietary restrictions of my wife. Don't miss these experiences.

Truly terrible service. We had booked for a group of 6 and had two cancellations which were advised well in advance. Continued unanswered emails to seek a refund with no response. I’m not sure if it was just our group, but the sandwich or snack they promise is also at a cafe round the corner at your own cost.
