We had a great morning with Manisha on the Indian Cookery course. Trip to the market to start with and then cooking and eating. I recommend doing the fish curry. It was delicious. Interesting, right pace, lovely food and Manisha was a great host.

A lovely way of spending a couple of hours. Great cooking and chat with Manisha, such a lovely lady. Never thought a salad with such basic ingredients could look and taste so good, and as for the prawns in coconut as the main……….

We had an absolutely delightful experience here. We attended a Creole Cooking class with Manisha - who was warm and friendly and a skilled, experienced cook! First we prepared the food, then we cooked the food, then Manisha served us the food on traditional banana leaf ‘plates’. Everything was fresh & delicious. Manisha was very respectful of our western palates and didn’t push us into anything too hot or spicy for our taste. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and absolutely recommend it without hesitation!

Amazing place to enjoy Pondicherry, with very nice people. The cycle tour offers a nice variety of perspectives. The art and craft class is fantastic. A must-visit place.

Wonderful morning and afternoon spent going around the market with the wonderful abd knowledgable Maneesha. I’ve been cooking Indian food for many years and know that Indian home cooked food beats restaurant food hands down and Maneeshas food that we cooked was delicious and very healthy. Highly recommended.

Excellent! Great value and great hostess!! A trip to the market to buy the ingredients and then a leisurely lunch preparation. A great first lesson in how to prepare and use so many spices and flavours.

Couldn't recommend the cooking class more highly. Manisha was extremely informative and a joy to work with. The class is well suited for a wide range of cooking experience/confidence. The menu is very customisable and can be vegetarian. Also brought us to the fish, produce, and spice market that we would have been sorry to miss otherwise.

This was a real treat. Saranya was a patient and charming hostess and teacher. She gave us a delightful glimpse into daily family life and the spiritual place of Kolam in Tamil Nadu life. We were also kindly allowed to transfer our rained-off bicycle tour. Generous. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Outstanding! The multitalented Manisha was brilliant she clearly loves her role. Her enthusiasm for teaching was exceptional. She took us first to the local market to buy vegetables which is an experience itself! We cooked the meal under her guidance and so far the best simple meal in India. I’d come back any day. Give her 6 out of 5 stars.

It's like a household unit. Not a professional teaching centre. No proper equipment. Old worn out ovens and gas stove. Everything looks like a stopgap arrangement. No chef's knife. No proper planning or methodology of teaching established. The poor kind lady was struggling herself to find the things. She was trying her best to teach us how to make eclairs and tarts but kind of like lac of training for the job. But she was very kind and polite.

Lovely experience great teacher Heema thaught us the traditional ways of kolam or mandala drawings. We had a really good time and it was fun to learn. She also explained some of the history, gave us lots of practice and informed us how we could do this in Europe with similar powder.

So fun! Wholeheartedly recommend the cooking class to all, young or old, experienced cook or not. We went to the market to do the shopping with Manisha, and we made vegetarian dishes and one meat dish and dessert! All delicious and tailored to what we wanted to learn. I loved it.

A variety of craft, cooking, exploring and shopping experiences offered on different days/ times - check whats available. Central to main tourist area and an easy walk. Class run by lovely ladies (experienced in their area) who offered the class even though I was the only one (higher charge though).

Went for the saree draping workshop and had such a lovely time with Mrs. Lakshmi. She's very passionate about her work and an enthusiastic teacher. We started off with some history about sarees, and what to look out for when shopping for one. Then we moved on to actually draping sarees from her collection. She explained everything step-by-step, demonstrating different styles. You can also pick some accessories to complement your look, and finally get some nice pictures clicked!

This was a fabulous experience. We didn’t just learn about cooking but also about the town. We absolutely loved it and recommend to all.
