About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- cruzc7500 contributionsWe hired Prashant, excellent, he has everything preparedOur trip to Mysore Palace exceeded all our expectations. The organization of the tour was impeccable; every detail, from transportation to local guide, was very well planned. The tour offered us fascinating glimpse into history and culture. We would highly recommend Prashant and his team!Written 13 February 2025
- 356genevieveb0 contributionsAmazing experience!Very good guide, friendly, informative and caring. Yogesh made sure I had a great time and took multiples pictures throughout the day. It was a unique and personalized experience. I loved the Mysore Palace and Devraj market, it’s beautiful. It worth every dollar, I highly recommend!Written 11 February 2025
- SHANNON h0 contributionsGreat full day out in Mysore with Rupesh!Would easily recommend this tour. Picked up at hotel doorstep and driven in comfort by friendly and considerate driver(Yogesh). He made stops for us as needed and was comfortably informative. In Mysore we were met by Rupesh, who is an excellent guide! He is not only knowledgeable and friendly, he had particular insight on the Mysore Palace as he is a member of their conservation group, and has actually met the current Mysore prince. We particularly enjoyed the summer Tipu sultan palace, and the lovely vegetarian lunch. If you are offered a choice between non-veg & vegetarian stops I suggest the vegetarian option, you won’t miss the meat and you will be offered at least 24 small samples traditional Indian vegetarian items, all delightful. We also got to see our driver Kumar, who had previously taken us around Bangalore as we toured with a second car, he was also fantastic and so friendly. With admissions and the local knowledge, and the comfortable ride there and back I feel this tour is worth every Rupee.!Written 11 February 2025
- jonathancV4409KI0 contributionsFantastic experienceThe day trip tour to Mysore was great and the tour guide, Prashant, was just fantastic. I would strongly recommend both.Written 9 February 2025
- JonathanS65760 contributionsBEAUTIFUL sights, Wonderful guideWe took three tours in our trip to India. Each had their benefits. Here is a high level comparison. This trip was our third trip had the biggest wow-factor. Mysor palace is the second most visited in India for a reason. Guide was excellent, and super knowledgeable. Helped to make sure we didn't get scammed, and was very patient when we were far over-schedule. Their English was very good, but not as good as the first guide's. Our first trip (walking tour of Bangalore) had the best guide. She was very knowledgeable, had great stories, and had perfect English. If you want to 'feel' what it's like to live with the street markets and temples in a big city, this is the tour for you. The second trip had excellent sights, but the guided had only passible English, fewer stories, and was less personable. Because one of the locations was unavailable, they took us to a silk shop which we were happy about.... But we felt over-pressured and our guide did not prepare us to haggle. Book this tour.Written 8 February 2025

- SHANNON h0 contributionsKnowledgeable, friendly, and gracious - this is how I would describe Prashant! He customized each experience.A wonderful tour, where he not only told me about each sight, but we also simply talked about each other’s life experiences. He made me very comfortable, and was thoughtful about my interests. Never rushed me, and was nice explaining anything I had questions about. I would definitely recommend him as a guide or potential friend!Written 4 February 2025
- Trail203004490380 contributionsAmazing team, amazing places! We visited Mysore on a wonderful day trip with Prashant! Our guide and driver were both experts and we felt completely safe with them. The car was very comfortable which was great for this long drive from Bangalore. The locations on the tour were all amazing to visit and had wonderful history and places to take photos. Prashant went above and beyond to accommodate us and was incredibly knowledgeable about Karnataka and beyond and had so many recommendations for us to adventure to next :) At each opportunity the team always asked us what we would like to try, including delicious coconut water and cane sugar juice, ice cream at the palace, and various fruits at the market. It was also great to have someone to help take photos, which was always offered at each location. We are so grateful and we would definitely go on another tour with this group in the future!Written 1 February 2025
- onesweetcowgirl0 contributionsOnce in a lifetime, first class experience all the way!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down, this was by far the most outstanding experience we had in India! Our guides were so thoughtful, immersive in the local culture, protective of us as tourists, attentive to our needs, and even slowing and stopping the vehicle for us to take pictures. We covered so many places in one day, and we certainly enjoyed seeing the farming areas, multiple villages, the Palace, and Somanathapura Chennakesava Temple. The temple was outstanding, unbelievable craftsmanship for the time period, the history and guided tour was so informative. This temple was carved out of soap stone and it is indeed an architectural marvel. On our way out, our guide treated us to fresh coconut milk and fresh squeezed coconut juice - both were a delicious treat far superior to the coconut milk from the US. Our lunch stop was at RRR. Such an immersive experience in Indian food culture. Our lunch started with a natural banana leaf placed on the table, this would improvise as a placemats for us Westerners, and the food was served with many appealing sides to be eaten with rice. If you love Indian food, you will truly love this restaurant. Prepare yourself, it's spicy, but I'm a weakling from California. Everyone really appreciated the food, service, experience and environmentally conscious restaurant. No plastic, paper or anything wasteful. The Palace was beyond belief, we saw a good portion of it and our guide treated us to ice cream at the end of the tour. The local market was so much fun, truly stepping in the path of the locals. We saw some unbelievably fresh produce, flowers, incense, a baby calf munching on scraps, banana aisle and coconut aisle. Our guide kindly stopped and treated us to some different fruits we had not tried and they were delicious, especially the mango! St. Philomena's Cathedral is so unexpected but beautiful in this country. Something familiar to Europe, a neo gothical style architecture where they invest all donations back into the school for children. ****Some personal advice for this tour: Be sure to bring sunglasses, it is exceptionally bright in India, a pair of socks to wear in the Palace and temples and some hand sanitizer for restroom breaks as some of the facilities do not have soap nor toilet paper. ;) Thank you Prashant and your amazing team, we had a wonderful trip and can't thank you enough for providing this amazing service. Best wishes for all the best that life has to offer and to the success of your small business. You're an amazing human being! We are forever grateful. 🙏Written 1 February 2025
- Angela B0 contributionsGreat day sightseeing in BangaloreGreat day out with very informative guide, and friendly driver. Adequate time at all the places visited, and a lovely lunch, We would recommend this as a way to see Bangalore as a tourist, as getting round independently seem to be a challenge when we investigatedWritten 31 January 2025
- zsazsas20250 contributionsHighly recommend to friends and familyI would definitely recommend Adventuresome tour company. We were visiting India for our first time and were excited to see the beautiful sights. We had 3 days in Bengaluru and we decided to book 2 days of tours with Adventuresome, one day to see the city of Bengaluru and a one-day tour of Mysuru. We had an unpleasant/unplanned encounter during our visit to Mysuru which was not on the itinerary and definitely outside the control of the tour operator. In spite of that, Prashant went above and beyond to provide remedy and consistently professional customer service. We are pleased with our experience with Adventuresome tour company and would highly recommend to friends and family.Written 29 January 2025
- Xochitl N0 contributionsVery complete tour! The tour was very good, my guide and driver were friendly and knowledgeable. We visited the main tourist attractions in the city, a great way to explore Bangalore. I do recommend this tour!Written 29 January 2025

- Germandownunder0 contributionsA big day out - memories for a lifetimeNavigating traffic in Bangalore is not easy but we felt safe and comfortable from the moment we got in the car with our driver Yogesh. He pointed out so many sights and explained things until we got to Mysuru where Rupesh took over as our guide. He was so knowledgeable, the amount of historic facts he relayed was impressive. All sights on this tour were worthwhile and experiences we will never forget. The lunch was also a highlight!Written 22 January 2025
- E2418FFpoojab0 contributionsAmazing experience at MysuruWhat an amazing day we spent at Mysuru. We were accompanied by Shiv and Yogesh, both of them were very knowledgeable and friendly. Prashant organized the trek really well. We were a group of five (3adults and 2 kids [12 and 6]); the trek was difficult in parts but the guide was amazing. The views during the trek was breathtaking and it was an experience of a life time. Thank you Prashanth and team Adventuresome!

By now we are little acquainted with treks and considered this trail to be pretty easy.
Ideally the trail should be covering 5 beaches but we were little short of time.
We decided to do Belekkal Beach-Paradise-Half Moon and Om Beach. We had already explored Kudle in the morning so we skipped that from this beach.
We started at Belekkal and headed towards Paradise.
There are no markings or directions given. Once u climb the hill, be prepared to get lost or pray to find someone in that trek. Luck was not in our favour so we became wanderers, trying to guess.
His could be our experience may be because when we travelled in Oct, tourism wasn’t much that time.
We went trekking on a beach slipper considering that we will have to spend more time on a beach but this is not the reality.
Please wear complete and full clothes, the grown bushes of the hills and insects will give you tough time. If possible, carry a bag with slippers and keep changing when u hit a beach.
My best suggestion would be to use a trekking group, they will have end to end maps and they would know the route better. Overall, pls don’t leave Gokarna without experiencing this. Avoid this completely with oldies or small kids or unfit people.
This trek is a big plus on the list and I wish to do it again.
Gokarna gets added to my “explore again list” after Vietnam.

Gokarna is the heaven in India, It’s beaches are so clean that you will be be able to see the sand below through the water. Vibhuti falls is also one of the best place to visit in Gokarna. Most beautiful thing is even in winter you will see a flow of the water in waterfall. If you are stressed just sit there for half an hour and you will forget everything. You will feel relaxed. Murudeshwar temple is also superb.
