Fantastic trip with lots of great photo opportunities
Brilliant trip . The guides are superb. Go early in the morning when it's less busy. Definitely need beach shoes and a waterproof phone case.

          Would do it again!
You. Must. Do. Marlon and his assistant D were amazing. They’re so organized, thoughtful and hilarious, it’s worth it. We started at the Blue Hole where my husband and I enjoyed our terrible tandem jump (more, don’t try to hold hands jumping 🤣), and swinging from ropes, to a break for lunch. They took our orders ahead of time so everyone got to eat at the same time. From there we went to Dunn’s River Falls. Is it touristy for a reason? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes. Would we do it stain? For sure!

          Dunn River Falls is awesome!
Overall good trip. It’s a fairly long ride from Montego Bay to the Blue Hole…about 2 hours with traffic one way. Blue hole was fun but not as exciting as I hoped. Dunn River was a blast. Walking up the falls was super cool, never done that before. I would recommend the tour just because of Dunn Rivers. All the guides at the major stops were all good. Clive was a good driver/guide, we enjoyed learning about Jamaica from him.

          Fabulous day!!!
The day was very well planned out. Our driver Copelai was awesome and looked after everyone. He handed us over to the tour guides and was there ready to pick us up.

This is a must, it’s 90 minutes from Montego Bay
The tour was not quite what I expected, it was a walking tour of Bob Marley’s family home where he was born and laid to rest with the rest of his family. Inside the home there are performers singing Bob Marley tunes, you see where he wrote Is this Love was written and you also get to see his shrine or tomb where he is resting, along with his mum and other family members. Truly amazing, although I would say that as you walk through the tour, there are so many gift shops, purchasing a candle to lay at his tomb and others, that buy the time the tour ends, you’ve run out of cash to tip the tour guide 😂

          Thrills and tranquility!
This excursion is a must-do adventure! Our driver was Clive, and he ensured that we had a great experience throughout the trip. His knowledge added an extra layer of depth to the experience. He was attentive and engage, and always ready with helpful tips and recommendations. The Blue Hole was a breathtaking oasis, with its crystal clear waters and stunning natural beauty. Dunn's River Falls was the highlight. Climbing the cascading falls was such a exhilarating experience. This one is not to be missed for anyone travelling to Jamaica!

          A Few Things to Know
If you are on a Viking cruise it’s a 2 hour drive from the port. If you have any ankle or hand issues this is not for you. It may look easy but this is strenuous. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Your guide climbs most of the falls with you and assists those in need. WATER SHOES are a must. Great experience just be careful.

          Worth the drive
We have 6 teenagers and they all agree the excursion was worth the 2-hour drive from our Negril resort. We hadn't expected the drive to be that long that day, but it was a good way to see more of Jamaica. The falls were beautiful and our family enjoyed swinging and jumping in. The only hiccup was that we didn't bring water shoes which may have been recommended in the info but we didn't catch that detail if it was. All 8 of us had to purchase the $10 water shoes (which could have been worse) at the gift shop before going in. We could have elected not to, but we were glad we did in the end because of the rocks. As an FYI (because I like to know these things), there's a gift shop, restaurant, and convenience snacks and drinks at YS Falls if needed. There's also a changing area and restrooms of course. The second half of the excursion was the Black River safari starting with lunch. Our kids really liked the food. The boat safari was wonderful. There were several huge crocodiles, one of which was 75 years old and 18 feet long. It was massive. I just wanted to denote that because we've been on other crocodile excursions in the states and we were disappointed by only seeing a few really small ones. The driver was nice and the shuttle was comfortable. All in all I would recommend this trip, but be prepared for a long day that's half driving. We left at 8am and were back to our Negril resort at 4:30pm.

Great day trip for two families with four kids ranging from 8-14 years old.
The YS Falls were beautiful. We enjoyed the rope swings and the tour guides did a great job of making sure we had pictures of our memories. It wasn’t too busy on the Tuesday we went. The lunch at the Black River restaurant was delicious. We grabbed some ice cream for the boat ride and enjoyed the beautiful views. We saw several crocodiles and the tour guide was funny and informative. The tour guide that drove the bus was amazing. He gave us a great history of Jamaica and was very enjoyable to be around. Overall a great trip.

          Fantastic
We stayed alive with Clive!! An absolute legend. Navigated the journey safely with the patience of a saint (I don’t think I’d want to drive these roads). Built a great rapport with and among the group. Very knowledgeable on the outbound journey and let us all chill with a movie (had to be cool runnings) and Bob Marly documentary and latest movie coming back. I will be back to survive with Clive again. One Love

So disappointed with the travel- do not go if staying in Montego Bay
I’ll start with the positives, the tour guide and driver were very kind and good fun and the actual Blue Hole and Dunns river were so cool to experience. However, our 8 hour day turned into 13 hours with 7-8 hours travelling. We were unluckily picked up first and therefore dropped off last. We were picked up at 8am and ended up getting dropped off at 9:30pm! In the morning, it took us 3 hours 40 mins to get to the actual blue hole which is meant to be like a 2 hour drive. This was because it took us an hour just picking up people around Montego Bay, then other hotels on the way, from here they then make us go to a souvenir store for 30 minutes in the middle of nowhere. We were also unlucky with one of the groups of people we were with as they kept asking to stop at a pharmacy then would take ages- this happened throughout the day - constantly waiting for one family. And I know this isn’t exactly the excursions fault but they could have encouraged the group to hurry up for the sake of the rest of us who have also payed. We then went to our lunch spot where the cheapest meal is $20, again in the middle of nowhere but to be fair it was nice food. From here they said it would take 15 mins to Dunns river but it actually took like 35 mins. Once we arrived, Dunns river was packed and hardly enjoyable with all the people trying to barge through up the falls. The tour guides there were great but get annoyed if you go off a little bit. After this long day , it then took 4 hours to get home because of the traffic and we unfortunately had to stop and wait for a driver that bus had broken down. Again not their fault , but it did kind of ruin our trip due to the length of the journey being so long already and there was no form of compensation and not really apologies. So I would recommend doing the Blue Hole and Dunns river only if you’re staying close to Ochos Rios.

Excellent day tour with the best 3 attractions
The SNL tour of blue hole, secret falls, and Dunn river's falls was excellent. Our tour guide, Clive, was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. If you want to do a day tour, look no further. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure to have waterproof phone case with you or buy one when you get there. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fun, Scenic, and Well-Organized Day Trip
I want to clarify upfront that this review is for the Dunn River Falls, Blue Hole, and Secret Falls tour, as the operator kindly rebooked me from the YS Falls and Black River Safari tour at no extra charge due to low interest in the latter. This thoughtful accommodation allowed me to join a group traveling on Christmas Day, which was greatly appreciated. — Transportation & Group Dynamics: The transport did take some time due to multiple pickups and stops, but the driver more than made up for it with humor and a welcoming attitude. He engaged everyone with jokes and even hosted a fun trivia game, which helped pass the time and set a positive tone for the day. The operators ensured there were opportunities for bathroom breaks, refreshment purchases, and even souvenir shopping, making the journey feel well-paced. — Destination 1: Dunn River Falls Experience Upon arrival, there was a bit of a wait due to the popularity of the site, but once we started, the experience was truly enjoyable. The falls were beautiful, and the activity itself was well-organized and fun. However, at the end of this portion, the guides became a bit pushy when requesting tips. While I felt somewhat guilted into tipping more than I intended (due to limited local currency on hand), I understand this isn't reflective of the tour operator but something for future travelers to be aware of. — Destination 2: Blue Hole and Secret Falls At the next stop, participants were given the freedom to engage at their comfort level—whether diving, rope swinging, or simply observing. I personally participated and found the activities thrilling and the scenery breathtaking. The camaraderie among the group of strangers was a delightful bonus, making the experience even more memorable. — Return Journey & Final Impressions: The return trip was straightforward and scenic, though understandably long. Overall, it was a fantastic way to spend a day. — Tips for Future Travelers A couple of takeaways: 1. Be mindful of tipping—it's always helpful to have smaller denominations in local currency to avoid overextending. 2. Expect some delays during transport and at popular sites, but rest assured the experience is worth it. In summary, this was a well-organized and thoroughly enjoyable excursion. The operator’s efforts to create a friendly, fun, and flexible experience were evident, making it a memorable day for all involved.

We arrived at Falmouth with our cruise ship for the day; we were required to re-confirm our trip by calling SNL Jamaican tours directly (after booking through Viator). Meeting point was easy to find after debarking from our ship; our driver was very knowledgeable and would point things out during our drive to the Blue Hole (which took about 1 hour). There we met our guide/life guard - after a short walk we get to the Blue Hole; we're told to jump in as they also take photos where they offer them to you for $50USD after. Advice: bring your own water shoes (or they have stalls to buy them) as you will need them to walk the trails. They have life jackets if you need them. Would recommend be physically fit/able to swim as the current can be quite strong at the falls. After this our driver picked us up and took us to lunch at Usain Bolt's restaurant; he also gave us the option to shop around or to take us back to the cruise ship terminal (where there are also shops). For cruise ship passengers that are looking for a nice shore excursion this is a good choice.

Fantastic trip Dave the tour guide was amazingly helpful as the path and rocks were slippery he stopped me falling over more than once also was there when I slipped on the mud, very knowledgeable, these guys are like mountain goats the way they scamper up the rocks. Defo recommend this trip. Ask for tour guide Dave and if your as happy as I was with his help then tip him generously very poor wages for a fab guide.

This excursion is amazingly great !
We chose this one for our day in Jamaica during our Disney Caribbean cruise last week.
Marlon is the best tour guide ever! Punctual, Knowledgeable, entertaining, respectful. The vehicle is in outstanding conditions, like new. The restaurant he took us to for lunch was an excellent choice. Both, The waterfall and the blue hole are beautiful , fresh and crystal water and the field tour guide is also amazing, I trusted him to jump on the hole which I thought I wouldn’t do. The tour ends with shopping in Ocho Rios. We also had the opportunity to shop at Duty Free Zone when Marlon dropped us back at the port before boarding the ship. This is something that I’d repeat. Awesome, 2 thumbs up 👍🏻 👍🏻!!
