As soon as we booked the tour, Laura texted us immediately with the details and also asked if we had any concerns or questions. She was super professional, very friendly and knowledgeable, and took us to many wonderful restaurants. As we ate, she gave us a brief history of the city and carried poster-cards from the 80s to compare with the current architecture of the city. We had a group member who was vegetarian and Laura accommodated the request. She took many pictures of our group that have now become fond memories. I highly recommend this tour- a wonderful way to see Cincinnati's beautiful architecture + understand it's history while also enjoying some lovely meals and treats! Thank you Laura for an amazing experience. My family was so happy.

Just SPECTACULAR Laura!! Absolutely the best tour of some of the highlights in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. My husband and I had a wonderful time with each and everyone of you that was in our group for the tour on May 13, 2022. Our tour guide Laura made it her priority to take care of our small group of 8 in a fun, relaxing, and professional manner. She told us so many great stories about the history of Cincinnati and her sense of humor was perfect! There was also a variety of different types of food to eat along this tour. I know for sure that I would have never tried any of these places if I wasn't on this food tour. If anyone is thinking of touring downtown Cincinnati, I would highly recommend the Cincinnati Streetcar Tour. One last thing, I just wanted to make sure that I let everyone know how much this tour affected me and that Laura is an AMAZING tour guide!! She's down to earth, has positive energy, she's genuine, funny, and just a wonderful person that I had the pleasure to be around for my birthday. All of these thing's combined made it the best birthday present that I've EVER had! I hope that everyone really appreciates everything that you do for your costumers as much as my husband and I did! Guests take food tours to celebrate lots of occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, girls day out and so on. Your vivacious spirit put the whole group in a good mood and they were delighted to celebrate your special day. This tour was such a fun way to experience Cincinnati! I loved learning about the Queen City and experiencing a tasty variety of foods along the way. Beth was an amazing tour guide and our whole group had an awesome time! I highly recommend booking this Riverside Food Tour while you are visiting in the Cincinnati area.

Looking for a smidge of this and dash of that all in one afternoon? How about mix of contemporary art swirled with architectural history of downtown Cincinnati? Even better add in local culture, history and legends with a personable tour guide who accommodates your groups needs - then this tour is for you! We booked an afternoon with Laura in the winter off season and found gems around every corner of the tour. The group was mixed with locals and visitors and we all found ourselves learning new things! The tour provided just enough history to excite but not so much to bore. Riding the Street Car was brilliant. Each stop provided a private taste of some of the best food in Cincinnati.
I highly recommend it for a ladies afternoon out!

When looking to plan a holiday work outing, I didn’t want to just do a typical lunch or happy hour. A quick search of interesting things to do in Cincinnati led me to the Riverside Food Tours site. Laura, the owner, was easy to work with and very flexible with helping with dietary restrictions and scheduling.
On the day of the tour, David, our guide was very easy to find. He was friendly and knowledgeable. While the whole group has lived in Cincinnati for much of their lives, we all walked away having learned a new fact. The tour stops center around more seasoned Cincy food locations, but all of the offerings were really great. You get healthy portions at each location so you do not leave this tour hungry.
We spanned a decent part of the city, but utilized the streetcar which helped. The owners really went above and beyond when the streetcar went out of service and they personally drove my group to our parking location.
I highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to try another one from their offering. This would make an excellent holiday gift, so check them out today

Laura was a wonderful guide!!! Good variety of foods to enjoy and plenty of time to do so! We never felt rushed while eating any of the meals! Laura takes you through many different neighborhoods to really get a feel for the city and it's culture! She gave us tons of local history, pointed out unique art and buildings while we ate, walked and rode the street car. Laura informed us that at the end of your tour you can ride the street car back to your starting point or stay in the Rhine neighborhood to shop the local stores and spend more time in the market. Great suggestion! Your then able to get back on the street car and head back to your car no trouble! Thanks to Laura our time in the city was filled with food, art, history and fun!!! I had no idea there was so much to see in Cincinnati! I would highly recommend this tour!

Jackie was our tour guide - she is so personable and full of interesting details about the city she obviously loves! The food stops provided a great variety of Cincinnati-specific offerings. All in all it was a beautiful day to be outdoors, meet folks from other parts of the country, and learn about the history and growth of Cincinnati. AND Jackie provided some group photos for us afterwards to have as memories. Highly recommend!

Took this tour with my grown daughters to get a feel for the city of Cincinnati. It was the absolute best choice! Laura was an amazing tour guide for both the food and the city. She is very knowledgeable about the city and told us so many little side facts about the history of Cincinnati. The food, of course, was quite delicious, and added to the fun! It was a rainy day, but still enjoyable since you jumped back on the streetcar to get to the next stop. We actually went back to some of the stops the next day. We found more things we wanted to do by going on this tour and hearing Laura's recommendations. I HIGHLY recommend! AND, Laura took photos and sent to us via email! So fun!!

My family and I just had 2 days in Cincinnati and the first was spent at Kings Island. So I really wanted to make the most of my second day. We couldn't decide between a history tour and a food tour but decided on the food. Well, as it turns out, not only did we get to taste some great food, but our guide Jackie knows so much about Cincinnati that we left feeling like we learned quite a lot about the city. I have 3 teen girls and they all said they absolutely loved the tour and found everything Jackie showed us and told us to be very very interesting. It isn't like sitting down for a history class! As we would walk/ride to the next stop, Jackie would point to a mural on a building and tell us about it or a stairway inside a museum and explain why it was curved. We also enjoyed the variety of food. Jackie would call ahead so it was ready at each place right when we got there. It was perfect to end at Findlay Market because then my family were able to explore the market when the tour ended and before we strode the streetcar back to where we parked our car.

The streetcar makes it easy to visit 4 different neighborhoods through downtown Cincinnati. All of our nine tours are setup to give our guests a 3 hour VIP treatment. Our first trip to Cincinnati and Riverside Food Tours was a wonderful way to see the neat city, learn its history and try some great local food! Laura was a gracious, friendly, informative host for her hometown. Making reservations online and meeting her at the designated spot was super easy. She made our family of four feel very welcomed and comfortable. The 3-hr tour was well planned, provided a delicious variety of food from longtime, local restaurateurs, the climate-controlled streetcar was accessible and Laura shared enlightening history in a way that was very engaging. The tour description said we would have six tastings, it was so much more - generous portions that were freshly prepared and yummy, you absolutely will not go away hungry. The restaurants had great atmospheres and in some cases we had the chance to speak with the owner or manager which only enhanced the experience. Laura took pictures throughout the tour and sent them timely to us as a tangible memory of our extremely fun afternoon. We highly recommend Riverside Food Tours, will continue to sing their praises and will certainly be a repeat customer if we’re ever back in Cincinnati! Thank you so much Laura!

How much walking is actually (miles)involved?

The streetcar was not available for our tour. So, it ended up to be a walking tour, but it wasn’t too much. We walked slow, took breaks and stayed in the shade. With all the food stops, it didn’t seem like we walked very much at all.
