The whole day was an awesome experience!!
Daniel’s knowledge of history and Hawaiian culture was phenomenal. He had a great sense of humor that kept us entertained. We saw amazing sights and even some hidden secrets of the island. The small group experience was such a wonderful way to enjoy views and explanations of paradise. He made an extra little stop for some hot Malasadas on the way back that was icing on the tasty cake for me. The others who had not had theses treats before were loving them as well. We would recommend this tour and guide to anyone wanting a day full of fun and adventure.

Outstanding Overview of Oahu!
Full day traveling in a new comfortable Mercedes van with six people total. Our guide Cameron was the best tour guide I’ve ever met; his knowledge and enthusiasm for the island of Oahu and the Hawaiian culture is first rate. The tour moved at a steady pace, but was not too taxing for the older members of the group. Cameron shared information on all the sites, plants, vistas, towns, and beaches we passed by or stopped to visit. My favorite part was seeing the turtles and listening to all the stories Cameron shared. He was also great about helping me and my friend in and out of the van; such gentlemanly customer service! I would recommend this tour early in your island visit and then revisit places where you might want to linger for a longer period. Overall, great day and I attribute a lot of the success to our guide Cameron!

Tyler Marsh wa sour guide and was a delight to spend the day with. Informative and added a couple little special stops for our family group. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the island that is not staying on the island for a week. Reservation was easy, customer service before the trip responsive and helpful.

We booked this because i specially asked about the Pineapple Farm. The pineapple farm was closed and no one told us until we got on the bus

We spent hours with the driver constantly talking and telling jokes no one laughed at.

The confirmation said 9-3 and clearly we were not going to get back by 3. I asked the driver and he laughed and said we will have less time at the beach.

I had 5 appt and had to hire a driver to get us back narrowly missing my appt. it was very stressful day and my daughter was car sick.

I am 61 and daughters in 20’s but none of us were excited about this trip. It seemed as though we stopped at places where he knew the people.

We learned later the home he said was Jackie Chan’s is not Jackie Chan’s.

Great experience!! We give our tour guide Johnny, high marks for making our experience informative, very comfortable, and laid back. He took us to many spots for great photos and a story about each location. His knowledge of Oahu and the interesting things about each town/village were helpful if you wanted to go back you would know good places to eat or visit in more detail. Macadamia nut farm was a nice stop with good coffee and nuts. Shipped home a box full. Johnny took us to Giavanni’s food truck for lunch. It
was probably in the top 3 best meals we had so far in the 5 days we have been here. Shrimp Scampi was delicious. Other offerings available if shrimp isn’t your thing. Turtle beach stop was a bonus with turtles on the beach. We toured the war Memorial with Johnny 2 days ago and during our trip he made some dining recommendations and the one we chose did not disappoint.
Daniel personally communicated and followed up after the tour. Very much appreciated and it illustrated to us that they care about those little details that make for a pleasurable experience. Thanks guys.

Not as advertised
We were told this was a semi-private tour with Daniel and max of 6 people, starting at 9am. Instead it was a bus tour of 22 people with a guide who talked non-stop. We were dropped off at a beach for an hour, although the website said no swimming or snorkeling. This, we were not prepared with bathing suits. We stopped at a macadamia nut store and a shrimp place with all the other tour buses. We saw the island, which was nice, but never again will I do on a Daniel’s Hawaii tour. Side note- my husband called Daniel. He was livid. Daniel gave us a partial refund. I can’t get the day back. Who would have thought there could be a bad tour of Oahu?!?!

Van / Group Size As described on Viator / TripAdvisor, our semi-private small group tour can have more than 6 guests. Due to Covid-19 restrictions worldwide, Hawaii is the only tropical destination for people from the continental US. It is very busy. To make sure we can accommodate everybody and don't have to cancel, we have to adjust the vehicle sometimes. 2. Tour Guide talked non-stop One of the main jobs of a tour guide is to explain the area. That's why our guides give as much information as possible about Hawaii on the tour. Maybe an UBER or taxi would have been the better fit for you if you rather have a driver than a guide. 3. Turtle Beach North Shore The beach you visited and stayed for about 30-40 minutes was Turtle Beach on the North Shore. Usually people love to stay there and watch the turtles. We are sorry that it wasn't for you. 4. FREE Coffee & Macadamia Nut Tasting The Macadamia Nut Farm is a well liked stop on our tour - not only because of the clean bathrooms, but also because of the FREE Macadamia Nut and Macadamia Nut Coffee Samples. 5. Lunch Stop Shrimp Trucks The Shrimp Trucks on the North Shore are famous and we are happy to have about 30-45 minute lunch break there. You can try the famous North Shore Shrimp, have a vegetarian plate or a non-seafood plate. 6. Livid Tour Company Owner About your side note: Your husband was the one yelling at me. Once he took a breath, I asked him what he suggests I should do to make him happy. He wasn't able to answer the question. The only thing he said was "I don't want to be an a-hole that's why I don't want my money back, but I will leave a bad review". Mission accomplished :) Even though I knew your family would leave a bad review, I gave a partial refund. Why? I felt bad for him. Great Oahu Tour with Cameron

We booked the Oahu Highlights Small Group Circle Island Tour for a semi-private tour for my wife and I. We had one other group with us so there were 4 total in our group. Our guide Cameron was a Hawaii local and he was great. We were picked up from our Waikiki hotel and went around the whole island, all while stopping at various points of interest including lookouts, beaches, various neighborhoods, macadamia nut farm, lunch at the famous north shore food trucks, and Dole Pineapple Plantation to name a few. Cameron sprinkled in lots of facts and interesting tidbits and was very knowledgeable and engaging and had great suggestions for other things to do on the island. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour with Sierra!
Sierra was amazing! In addition to being an exceptional guide, I think of her more as a cultural educator! She shared many things with us regarding the history & culture of her beautiful island and it’s peoples. She inspired me to learn more and gave me a whole new found respect for Hawaii. There is so much more here than just a popular vacation spot. Sierra showed us breathtaking views of landmark spots and we were able to stop for several photo opportunities. Beaches, movie locations, food trucks and more! We were a small group of 4 so Sierra had time to share with us a couple of off-the-beaten-track stops. As this was Christmas Eve day, the entire tour was very special and greatly appreciated. Sierra truly went above & beyond for us. Daniel’s Tours is very lucky to have her on their team. We will be searching for this lovely young lady to guide us on our next visit!

Cameron was fantastic! It just was me and my 10 year old on the tour and man it was great! First time on the island and it was definitely worth booking this. Took us to a great place to eat took a lot of pictures answered all of our questions. He was great with my daughter you would've never guessed that she's on the shy side by the way she felt comfortable with him. I'm also a commerical bus driver so I'm extra anal with how people drive but I totally felt safe with Cameron behind the wheel which is not something I usually feel. We were even bummed when the tour ended cuz we had such a great time! I wish Cameron could be our personal tour guide for all our world travels!!

Great small and efficient tour of Oahu

We enjoyed our day with Johnny. It was nice to have a smaller tour experience and made our experience so much more fun than a larger group tour. It was flexible and easy and we enjoyed all the random knowledge and facts that our tour guide told us about. Everyone had a great day and it was definitely the way to see the island efficiently and enjoyably.
