We live here in Salem, and did this because we want to try all the local attractions. We loved our ride on the schooner FAME, and would recommend it to anyone. The crew was friendly and so knowledgeable about the area, and the views from Salem Harbor are spectacular.

What a wonderful experience with people that really enjoy what they are doing. Learned a little history and boat handling. Great conversations.

Brought my 5 year olds and the crew really made it special for them- taught them how to tie different knots, they got to help set the cannon off, and got to raise a sail! They also had snacks and drinks on board which was convenient!

It was a beautiful day for a sail. The Fame is spacious, comfortable and fun! Passengers were encouraged to help raise the sails with a few brave souls happy to participate. It was interesting to hear some details about the designing and building of the ship along with an album of photos highlighting the progress. It was a great tour along some of the North Shore's coastline!

The experience could not have been better! The crew was awesome.The boat was pristine. We were invited to participate in raising the sails and steering the schooner. The day was beautiful. A great family activity!

This was the best part of our fall trip!! The cruise was wonderful, The history even better. It covered all the bases...You could learn, kick back, relax and enjoy the wind on your face...It was a quiet respite. You leave all your worries and stress back on the wharf..again it was just the best!

We took our 22 year old son with special needs on this boat and the captain and crew were awesome with him. They let him steer the boat and gage him a book to look at about the boat. Amazing boat and amazing crew highly recommend!!

Had an absolute blast on our sail! The ship crew was very professional, courteous, friendly, and were an absolute delight to speak with. They made us feel like part of their family! I strongly recommend a sail with these fine folk and would love to do it again in the future!

I had my family in town for a weekend visit and was looking for something fun to do. The crew were knowledgeable, competant and pleasant to talk to. The Fame was comfortable and in excellent sailing condition. We really enjoyed the sights, the history and the cocktails. The cost was very reasonable for the amount of time we sailed and the level enjoyment we experienced. My family was thrilled and we will likely do it again. Stuart C.
