About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- slfollis0 contributionsA wonderful tour!We started our day a little bit earlier than planned because our guide Mike wanted to give us more opportunity to see animals while they were moving around the park. We enjoyed our time with him and would definitely recommend doing this tour. He took time to explain a lot of things, share history and information that was important to learn about the park and the wildlife there. He was also willing to take plenty of pictures!Written 10 October 2024
- pbarry630 contributionsGreat dat in RMNPDave was a great guide. He modified the tour to give us exactly what we were looking to see! We enjoyed his company and knowledge. His photos he shared with us were outstanding! Thanks Dave!Written 9 October 2024
- APB250 contributionsTo truly see RMNP....schedule your experience with RMNPhotographer!! You won't be disappointed! I Promise!!I wish I could give this more than 5 stars! This was, by far, the best experience! We were scheduled for a 3/4 day trip. When we arrived at 6am for our start time, which was personalized for us, as that is when most of the animals are starting to move for their day, we met the most amazing guy.... Dave!! From start to finish, Dave made sure that we were seeing, doing, enjoying everything we came to see and do in NMNP! And boy did we and then some and even more! He made our trip so special. For an Aussie haha he was super knowledgeable of the park, the animals, the history of the area and more. We went and saw things you don't get to see by just driving through the park. If you truly want to see RMNP, book a trip with RMNPhotograher and ask for Dave! I'm sure all guides are amazing, but our experience with Dave was over the top incredible and I would want everyone to have the same experience. Brad, the owner was so easy to work with to book the trip from the very first email I sent requesting information (which was answered in less than 2 hours) to the final phone call to book the trip, Brad was super enjoyable to work with! I can't express enough, if visiting RMNP and you truly want to SEE the park and the wildlife...give them a call and get it scheduled. Its personalized to what you want to see and do... and the bonus... they have professional photography backgrounds, fancy camera equipment and will take some incredible photos and videos for you and airdrop them to you before you even get out of the vehicle at the end of the trip! I just can't say enough good things about our experience! (and we've travelled all over the country and world and this is by far a top 3 experience as far as a guided adventure)Written 3 October 2024
- SueR22880 contributionsAwesome Tour worth every penny. We were so pleased with our tour and very surprised that we were able to go over the top on Fall River Road. The scenery and colors were just AMAZING! Our guide Mike had lots of information on the park that we hadn't heard before. He took us to an AWESOME place for lunch in Grand Lake and knew some of the best spots to see wildlife. We would highly recommend this tour it is worth EVERY penny!Written 28 September 2024
- jenniferrZ7313ND0 contributionsGuides go above and beyondDave did such a great job. He has so much knowledge of the history of the park. We are very happy we got paired with him. He showed us beautiful areas of the park and helped me take great pictures. He didn't stop there. He told me that I could text him the rest of the trip here if I needed help with anything.Written 28 September 2024
- KVVKansasCity0 contributionsPicture perfect!Outstanding! Our guide, Dave did a great job of showing us some amazing sights in RMNP. The added bonus was all the history he shared about the park’s beginnings and major events like the great flood in the 1980’s and the almost devastating fire in 2020. It was a wonderful way to start our visit to Estes Park. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.Written 28 September 2024
- Camper392819813090 contributionsGreat day!Dave was an amazing guide! He is a professional photographer and really knows the park. We had lots of great pictures!!! He made the day for us!Written 22 September 2024
- Sightsee932210 contributionsGreat full day tour!Loved the scenery, history, photography tips, and company. Dave is very interesting, a fountain of information AND a great driver on these mountain roads. Little luck with wildlife this time but suggestions for finding them later in the evening were spot on! Thanks for a beautiful day!Written 21 September 2024
- 279mirandas0 contributionsGorgeous scenery and wildlife with knowledgeable and passionate guides. Highly recommend! What a wonderful experience we had last weekend with Brad and Dave of RMNPhotographer tours! We booked two half day tours (Lakes and Meadows and Mountain to Sky) and were able to really explore the beauty, wildlife, geology, and history of RMNP, thanks to the passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm of Brad and Dave. Brad took us on a lovely hike that was perfect for our 6 year old son (and that we loved too!) and gave us the chance to experience incredible wildlife viewing of the elk rut. Dave took us on an exciting walk (safely and respectfully) tracking moose. We saw scat, tracks, and even beds where the elk has slept, which was almost more exciting than actually seeing moose themselves. He totally engaged our curious kid and was amazingly generous with his time and deep knowledge of nature and the park. Between the two tours we were able to make the absolute most of our short time at the park. Brad and Dave know every inch of the park and were able to share the best experiences in a really seamless and organized way. As newcomers to the area we could never have managed to see and experience as much on our own, and it was fantastic to have them drive the car so we could all relax and enjoy. I highly recommend this tour company!Written 20 September 2024
- boby5530 contributionsTOTALLY Incredible Tour by Dave S.!!!I just completed a 3/4-day tour with Dave S. He was a superb tour guide who made my tour amazing. As a photographer, I said I wanted to shoot moose, big horn sheep, elk, and wildlife pictures. Dave treated this as a personal challenge and made it come true. Even though I had booked a 3/4-day tour, Dave would not let me go home unfulfilled. He spent much more time so that I was able to finally capture images of moose, which were fleetingly elusive that day. In the end, I got images of all the animals I requested. Even though I had my own equipment, Dave had amazing equipment like a tripod-mounted spotting binocular and a Swaroski lens and scope (that got me closer than my 600mm lens), which enhanced my wildlife search and viewing experience. Dave is a passionate outdoorsman, photographer, and tour guide who was able to make my trip perfect. Even if you are not a photographer, Dave has the knowledge, passion, and experience to create a tour that will satify your needs. I totally recommend this tour. It made my day in Rocky Mountain NP INCREDIBLE and was totally worth every cent I spent. Thank you Dave S.!!!Written 12 August 2024
- scherryb20240 contributionsA Tour I Will Never ForgetWe met our guide outside Estes Park. Thus began a tour that we will never forget. Dave S. Brought the Rocky Mountain National Park to life. He was determined that we would experience the area that he loved to the fullest And we did. He asked us what we wanted to see and experience during the tour and then fulfilled our expectations and then went beyond. I was so excited about a photography tour. I had done tours but Dave S. Taught, shared information about the park and fulfilled all my wishlist. THANKYOU Dave. And RMNPhotographt Tours.Written 17 July 2024
- michaelsJ9074UU0 contributionsWorth Every Penny! You won't be disappointed!I signed up for a tour the day before. I was contacted by text with the meeting time and location a few hours after I signed up. I replied to the text and explained what I was looking for and Brad was very accommodating. He changed our start time to be better suited for what I was hoping to accomplish. The morning of our tour Brad was prompt, took the driver's seat, and off we went. Brad is an encyclopedia of information about the area. We went out of his normal routine and focused on locating wildlife to photograph. As we drove through each area, he sighted dates and the history about it. Brad knew about all of the nooks and crannies of where to find wildlife to photograph. Because of the unusual heat, we had some difficulties finding anything in his usual locations, but he did not disappoint! We eventually stumbled across a couple of bull elks and then had a couple of bull moose sneak up on us. As we went, I learned about the spots to visit in the future. He allowed me the time I needed at each location to get the shots I wanted. He brought his camera and shot along side me. Brad was very personable, I felt like I was with a friend.Written 15 July 2024

- andrewfR4152WF0 contributionsAmazing tour!We booked this for my family but unfortunately I wasn’t feeling well and stayed back at our AirBNB. Dave (tour guide and photographer) took care of my family who had an amazing time. They got to see multiple elk herds, marmots and snow. Dave was fantastic with my family and my son who has ASD. He was patient and took care of my family. Wonderful tour and I’m extremely jealous I missed out!!Written 24 June 2024
- kevdog130 contributionsGreat day in RMNP with MarcosMy family and I had a great time and enjoyed our time with our guide, Marcos. We also had the privilege of meeting Brad that morning during coffee and morning huddle to discuss our day plans. This company was prompt and courteous. We got to see a number of sights in the park and Marcos was very knowledgeable about the sights we traveled to. We also got to see a lot of the wildlife that RMNP had to offer and with Marcos's guidance learned some tips and techniques for better photography. I highly recommend this company and Marcos for a tour. Take it early in your trip and then you will have a good foundation to help in planning for the days after.Written 18 June 2024

This was an excellent tour! Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable of Estes and RMNP history. He customized the tour to our interests and drove our vehicle so that we all could enjoy the breathtaking scenery. He knew where to find the animals and where to take beautiful photos. We loved that it was just our own family group and was so personalized. Would definitely recommend and would take another tour!

The benefits of touring with a guide when visiting a destination as vast as RMNP cannot be overstated. We usually do a pretty good job of exploring the National parks on our own, but with limited time on this trip, we certainly made the right decision to book the half-day mountains to sky tour. Mike was a friendly, knowledgeable guide and inquired about our goals for the day before we set off. His stories, knowledge of the park, the wildlife and their habits and the bonus of having him drive our car made the experience extremely pleasant, not to mention the stops along the way that we may well have missed without his knowledge of them.
I highly recommend this experience!!

We loved having a private tour of the Rocky National Park with Mike. He was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife, wildflowers and history of the park. He took us to many places where we saw elk, mule deer, moose, marmots and lots of chipmunks. He was was patient and kind in taking photos of us with our camera as well as his. It was so nice that he sent us the pictures he had taken. He came us some great recommendations of future places to visit in the park and we would definitely recommend taking this tour with Mike.

Our tour guide Brad made the trip so interesting with his stories and his own personal photography. We loved having him do the driving so we could just enjoy the spectacular views! We have been to RMNP before but this tour really enhanced the visit this time.

The guide was great. His knowledge was great. His ability to make you feel like a friend not a customer was great. Brad was great at recognizing our interest. He certainly meet all of our expectations for a guided tour.

We were excited to take a tour with RMNPhotographer Tours. Our tour guide Brad was amazing. We went through the park the day earlier and thought we had a good experience, but our tour guide Brad took it up a notch. He is truly in his element. Brad is a wealth of knowledge giving us history of the park and showing us the hidden gems. He was so patient with our girls making sure to make the trip memorable for them as well. The girls told him they wanted to see wildlife and a moose with big antlers. He did not disappoint because not even an hour into our tour he knew we needed to go back to the lake to check for moose, and there it was! It was great to have Brad drive to allow all of us to enjoy the scenery. The highlight for me was the waterfalls and the huge bull elk just below the Alpine Visitor Center. It was a perfect tour and one of the best parts of our trip.

Mike was outstanding. His knowledge of the park and animals added immensely to our experience. He knew where the views were outstanding and the places we would see the elks and moose. We highly recommend visiting the Park with Mike - alone without his expertise the visit would have never measured up. Thank you so very much.

Brad is an experienced guide and know where to spot elk, moose and many other animals in RMNP. He drove our car so can enjoy views. Trail ridge road was closed on the day when we are going up due to unexpected rock slide. So we took detour to bear lake road to see lakes. After two hours when trail ridge road opened and he was flexible enough to take us back to alpine visitor center.

This was an amazing and beautiful experience! Benjamin was our guide. His knowledge and expertise of the area was what made the trip so much fun! The majestic, powerful falls was a highlight for us. The meadow walk among the wild flowers felt close to heaven. We learned about the history of the area and taking care of the fragile eco systems up top. We were a family of four from ages 72 to 9 and everyone truly enjoyed it!!Be sure to drink lots of water!! Thank you Ben!

We visited RMNP on Labor Day 2022. We arrived at the meeting place, a quaint little coffee shop where my kids could feed the ducks. Brad welcomed us (wife, and kids 17, 7 and 4) with a smile and an encouraging handshake.
After entering the park, Brad was knowledgeable about the history of the park, the town, the park's founders and even places to eat. It was a perfect 4 hour tour, and there was something there for all of us.
The tour was personal as we could stay at one place or another as long as we wanted. It was OUR tour.
It also helps that Brad is not only knowledgeable about everything mentioned, but he is a really nice man as well. 100% recommend for an individual or a family.
Thanks Brad!

Can any vehicle make it up this road or does it need to be a high clearance, 4-wheel drive?
