What to Expect
Your Atlanta food walking tour meets at Paschal's Restaurant on Northside Drive. Once you link up with your guide and small group, you’ll explore the culinary history and culture of Georgia’s state capital.
This tour, which covers about two miles on foot in roughly 3.5 hours, stops at seven local eateries. Try a range of Southern fare, including soul food, barbecue, Lowcountry, and Creole dishes. Stops may include Smoke Ring, Just Add Honey Tea Company, and Miss D's Pralines. You can also sample an alcoholic beverage.
It’s not just about food. Your guide connects Southern food to the city’s rich history. Learn about the role the city’s restaurants played in the Civil Rights Movement, among other historical tidbits.
Your tour ends at Sweet Auburn Curb Market.

Southern Food Tour

Almost 2 weeks ago I attended the Southern Food Tour. I was especially surprised to enjoy the history lesson as much as the delicious food!! I loved our tour guides. Margaret and Jamie were friendly, sweet, smart and knowledgeable. I recommend this tour.

There’s a lot of walking, however since you’ll have the 2 year old in a stroller everything should be fine.

I wouldn’t recommend this tour for him. On this particular tour you do a lot of walking and it’s a steady pace.
