Choose between a morning, midday or afternoon snowmobile safari. Each tour leaves from the base of Myrdalsjokull glacier, a short drive west of Vic. From there, you’ll pull on a helmet and a set of insulated, cold-weather overalls, get a safety lesson from your English-speaking guide and board the off-road bus that transports you on the half-hour trip (each way) to the glacier trail head.
At Myrdalsjokull, you’ll hop on a two-person snowmobile with a driver (solo riders pay a surcharge) and set off on a ride with a small group and English-speaking guide.
Along the way, you’ll be able to stop and snap photos of the dramatic Icelandic scenery. Afterward, you’ll end your tour where it began.
