Brian and Holly are Gilbert's Cheese Experience. We host cheese-pairing pop-ups with Seattle-area food and beverage producers, providing a delicious sampling of locally procured products and insider access to craft producers. We pair cheese with wine, beer, spirits, coffee, chocolate and other craft food and drinks.
First, we'll tell you about our mission and philosophy, and explain the importance of getting connected to your local food and beverage ecosystem. We'll teach you how cheese is made, and lead you through how to do a proper tasting. Then we'll cut you loose to sample the pairings! This is a fun, interactive time where you can ask questions, exchange ideas and discuss what you're experiencing with us, the producers and other guests.
Finally, we'll have a group chat about what we tasted and share our favorites. You'll leave satiated, satisfied and having learned a few things, too!
Events include 3-4 samples of artisan cheese with 3-4 samples of another paired food or beverage item. Plentiful snacks always provided.
