- benbA1560KA0 contributionsThis is a MUST when visiting Seattle!Cheryl was a fantastic tour guide! She was kind, courteous and knowledgable of all things Seattle and the Mt. Rainier National Park. My wife and I were travelling with our two children (6 and 9yrs old) and we all had such a wonderful day with Cheryl. She showed us all of the sites and sounds of the beautiful National Park. We highly recommend her and we will absolutely be contacting her again when we revisit Seattle. Thanks again for all of the memories!Written 10 September 2024
- Ksarangee0 contributionsA Phenomal Tour of Seattle with a Delightful Tour Guide and Magnificent Hospitality!Cheryl took us not only to Mount Rainier (Longmire Trail of the Shadows, Christine Falls, Narada Falls, Nisqually Glacier Trail, Reflection Lakes, and Silver Falls) but Snoqualmie Falls, Deception Falls, Leavenworth, Cascade Mountains, Deception Pass State Park, and Whidbey Island. It was a great experience with her heartwarming personality and her spacious and luxurious SUV. Her attitude to take us everywhere was very charming and she would also hike with us. If you ever want to take a memorable and astounding tour of Seattle, I highly recommend Cheryl for you!Written 11 August 2024

- lesliewX1308RC0 contributionsWhidbey Island day tripCheryl’s tour was the highlight of my Seattle trip. I was picked up directly from my hotel. She was extremely knowledgeable about Whidbey Island and shared many interesting facts. I could tell that she catered to my interests and adjusted the tour accordingly. At one point we spotted a bald eagle directly about the vehicle. I jokingly asked her where the button was that she pushed to release the Eagle. I truly had a wonderful tour.Written 29 November 2023
- ogieo20170 contributionsWhidbey Island experienceWe did a private tour of Whidbey Island and came away very impressed with the knowledge of Cheryl, our guide, as well as her level of customer service. We visited state parks with breathtaking views, Fort Casey and its historical sites, and several quaint little towns that we totally enjoyed walking around. She was quite flexible and tailored the tour to our timeframe and interests. We strongly recommend her.Written 22 November 2023

- O1233TDmichaelc0 contributionsGreat Day with Awesome ViewsCheryl planned a variety of stops for our tour enabling us to see native trees, flowers, waterfalls and of course the Mt. Rainier summit. She was very knowledgeable and provided great information. She also adjusted our hikes to accommodate my sometimes troublesome knees. We had a great day.Written 7 September 2023

- TvS70 contributionsBest private Mt Rainier tour-Great Experience!Cheryl was a great guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the Mt Rainier tour. She customizes each tour to your preference and abilities for hiking the different trails and if you'd rather do a picnic lunch or a restaurant meal. She's very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area which we luved learning about. It's great going with someone local who knows where all the restrooms and water refill stations are AND the secret picnic spot with a beautiful view of the mountain! She also provides some snacks and really nice reusable water bottle that you get to keep. If we ever make it back to the ared we will definitely come back for another tour.Written 2 August 2023
- Linda M0 contributionsGreat Wine Tasting & Washington State ExperienceCheryl planned a great day of wine tasting for us and planned little extra touches that made even the trip from our Seattle hotel to the vineyards/wineries and back an enjoyable experience. She called us ahead to customize the trip per our preferences, she pointed out highlights along the way after picking us up from our hotel, and made sure we had snacks, water (and water bottle to keep), and tailored lunch across a couple of the wineries per our preference, all in addition to the wine tasting experiences at three wineries that had a great diversity and delicious wines. Besides the wine tasting, the trip back and forth from Seattle was a great part of the experience as we really enjoyed the scenery and learning a little about the different Washington landscapes and climates between Seattle and Eastern Washington (desert area).Written 3 July 2023
- SherrieW9560 contributionsBest day of our trip!My daughter and I did the Snoqualmie Falls, Leavenworth, and Deception Falls tour with Cheryl. What a great day! The trip was delightful. It became overcast and rainy, so the weather did not cooperate, but within the limitations of that Cheryl took us to see the most breathtaking sights. We experienced everything from sunshine to rain to snow, and experienced awesome scenery. Picking up on our frequent trips to the Smoky Mountains, she made sure we were able to witness plenty of what made the Mount Rainer area unique. We saw enormous pine trees, beautiful waterfalls, and the mountains clothed in snow. She was informative, and knew the mountains extremely well. She was great company and an excellent guide. And she took us to a wonderful restaurant in a converted railroad passenger car that was a unique treat. We returned to Seattle on secondary roads and saw a good deal of what Washington State was like around the Cascades. I'm glad we took her tour.

We initially booked a tour of Mt. St. Helens as a pre-cruise trip. Unfortunately the road to the visitor's center was washed out in a mudslide so Cheryl suggested switching to Mt. Rainier. It ended up being a fantastic day. The mountain and surrounding national park are spectacular to visit. Cheryl knew all the good spots for pictures, hikes, a scenic lunch and park history. She also knew a lot about what we saw and explained it well. We would recommend her tours to anyone.

Besides the beautiful weather,
and Mount Rainer scenery, we got to see a large rainbow at the bottom of the waterfall. Private tour was so worth it; even catered to my food allergies. Thanks Janet and Cheryl!

This was the most wonderful way to see Mt Ranier! Cheryl was our guide and since it was a private tour we were able to see the day as we pleased. We could stay longer at some stops and move faster through others and no feeling of being part of a crowded group so better picture taking opportunities. She also gave us great history of the area on the drives and was very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna, and history of the Mt. Ranier area. I was originally booked on a small guided tour of 10 people but so glad I changed my mind and paid just a little extra to go private with Cheryl. She offers other tours of the area as well, would definitely book with her again and recommend to anyone!

This was a wonderful tour of the bottom third of the mountain with views of the entire peak! The best thing about the private tour is that regardless of your conditioning, your level of adventure, or your particular interest, this tour allows the flexibility to see and experience what you want (within reason, of course!) The guide was knowledgeable and they allow you to take the basic tour and customize it. I really appreciated the flexibility with my 13 year old sons enthusiasm and provided a one of a kind unique experience for us! I highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Rainier and not be shoved into a cattle bus. It's totally worth the price difference (if any), especially since we were coming all the way across the country from Florida. A truly unforgettable once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Cheryl's Tours!

Is this a private tour? If I book, will it be only my wife and I, or will you take others as well?
