Overview

The Victoria Clipper runs a high-speed boat trip between Seattle and the charming English-influenced city of Victoria, Canada. This one-way trip whisks you from downtown Seattle to the inner harbor of Victoria. The scenic three-hour cruise offers amenities like duty-free shopping, in-seat food and beverage service, and views of Puget Sound and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Once in Victoria, enjoy shopping, dining, and museums, all within easy reach of the dock.

What to Expect
Walk on our high-speed Victoria Clipper catamaran for a scenic ride from downtown Seattle’s Pier 69 to the heart of downtown Victoria. Relax on the less than three-hour cruise through Puget Sound into the Strait of Juan De Fuca.

Easy, scenic international transport from NW USA to Vancouver Island Canada

I took the catamaran walk on ferry from Seattle early this morning, arriving in Victoria BC by 10:10am, through the friendly and efficient immigration by 10:20, walked to my destination in James Bay by 10:30. Saw a pod of Orca's on the transit as well....More

Great way to travel between two great cities!

Needed to get to Victoria B.C. so this was the first and foremost option in my book! Quick and relatively cheap means of transport. The weather was glorious so maybe if the sea was rough the experience would have been different?! Booked well in advance...More

That's wonderful to hear! Fortunately our newest ship, the Victoria Clipper V, is much larger with a wider platform and motion-dampening technology so it's quite a smooth ride regardless of the weather. Glad you were able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area! Thanks...More

Prepare for this ferry and you'll enjoy it more

I took the ferry from Victoria to Seattle and had no idea what to expect and, as usual when travel to the USA is involved, I was not looking forward to dealing with grumpy and dopy US border staff. I was pleasantly surprised to discover...More

I like the Clipper but not the food

The Clipper is nice and comfortable, but food and coffee are not good. You have to get your own food. Cash is not accepted you have to pay with debit or credit cards.

Plain Sailing!

Well organised. Good customer service and a great way to move from Seattle to Canada. Early start for the 7.30 am crossing but means you are in Victoria for a full day.

Yes, the staff on the ferry is very good about getting a wheelchair up and down the ramps. There are also areas on the main level for disabled persons.
