Overview
Experience the natural beauty of Mt Rainier on this 10-hour, guided, small-group nature tour from Seattle. Take a scenic trip from Seattle to Mt Rainier, the highest mountain in the state of Washington and one of the tallest in the lower 48 states. Enjoy the magnificent views and natural wonders — from wildflowers to waterfalls — while hiking or snowshoeing through Mt Rainier National Park. Coffee and pastries for breakfast, plus snacks and a picnic lunch with wine are included. Hotel pickup and drop-off is provided.
What to Expect
At 14,410 feet above sea level, beautiful and majestic Mt Rainier is an icon in the Washington landscape — an active volcano and the most glaciated peak in the United States, creating six major rivers. It is, in a word — breathtaking — to look at.
This day trip nature tour to hike and/or snowshoe around Mt Rainier National Park begins with a Seattle hotel pickup followed by a scenic 2-hour drive to the park in a luxury vehicle. Upon arrival, enjoy Seattle coffee and pastries before starting the trek along the Nisqually Vista Trail. Be on the lookout for wildlife wandering around the mountain at any time. Binoculars are provided to get a closer look.
This all-day Mt Rainier tour includes frequent stops to take pictures and enjoy light snacks. A picnic lunch of locally sourced, organic foods (grilled chicken or salmon, sandwich or wrap, with a grain or green salad and regional wine, water or soda) is also provided midday.
At the end of the day, it’s back down the mountain to take a relaxing return trip to Seattle.

Justin was a fantastic tour guide

I had such a great time on this tour. Justin was really great. He knew the history of the mountain as well as the flora and fauna. Everything was perfect: the weather, the ratio between hiking and site-seeing, and the picnic lunch.

Start to finish, a wonderful day out of the city. We left in thick fog and broke through to sunshine about an hour out of town. Nothin' but blue skies, majestic mountains, and a range of vegetation, all interpreted expertly by our guide, Sean. Great...More

Yes, you do, or we did anyway, stop at Narada. I think that may be where we had our lunch.
