    What to Expect
Your half-day orca whale–watching cruise leaves midday from the Seward Harbor 360 Hotel Dock, and docks back here in the late afternoon. Snacks and beverages are available for purchase onboard.

Keep your eyes peeled as you journey into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. Rather than following a set route, your experienced captain takes you to places where orcas have recently been sighted, making every day a unique cruising experience.

Along the way, learn from your captain and naturalist crew members about the orcas’ prominent dorsal fins and fascinating social behavior. A hydrophone on board allows you to listen to the calls of the orca whales underwater.

We were travelling as a group of 13 and Major Marine Tours answered our questions in a timely manner prior to us arriving. The tour itself was amazing. The views were spectacular, captain and crew incredibly knowledgeable. We saw lots of Orcas, two humpbacks, sea...More

This tour was brilliant. We saw a large pod of orcas and then later on in the tour another 2 orcas, 2 humpback whales, otters and sea lions. Would definitely recommend.

This was the absolute highlight of our Alaskan cruise. We saw SO much wildlife on this tour and the captain (Kalyee I believe?) had so much knowledge. There are not many opportunities in life to see Orcas in the wild, and we saw several. It...More

I believe so. I took a cruise in 7/5 and we saw Orcas and I reviewed my photos from last year and I have photos of Orcas in August. There is a difference in that after 6/10 there is no longer a cruise dedicated to just... More
