    Bloody Mary’s Seance - a reading you’ll remember
Bloody Mary’s seance and tour was a true standout on our visit. I was visiting from NYC with friends and family from around the country. It was a fun experience as well as a profound experience for several of us. Mary is great and no matter what your previous experiences she’ll put you at ease. Highly recommend!

    Seance experience
I was really looking forward to this seance. She is a very nice lady but the experience was not good. Too many people in a very, very small room. She lights sage which was unpleasant at best, and then it caught on fire and made me sick. My friend and I had to leave quickly. The whole "connecting with the dead" was really a disappointment. She needs to have at most 6-8 people - - not 12! I had a mask on so I wouldn't be exposed to any illnesses, but this was not the cause of my discomfort - the situation was very uncomfortable.

Interesting and informative tour of the city’s historic places and burial practices. Staff and guide were very knowledgeable and friendly. Transportation could use a set of shocks it was a bit rough but all in all a cool tour.

    Amazing!!
I can not say enough great things about my experience with Bloody Mary. There is no one who knows the history of New Orleans like she does and not just spirits. If you want to learn the history and have a spiritual experience with some really cool vibes this is it. I would have paid twice as much for this experience and it still would have been well worth it!!

    What an incredible time!!!
My husband and I booked this for my birthday celebration and it was so fun and so amazing!! We got to use real ghost hunting equipment and had multiple paranormal experiences!! Mary was so informative and fun! We got to see multiple cemeteries, go to her 120+ year old haunted house and her 200 year old haunted museum!! It ended up just being my husband and I so it was super intimate and so cool!! Well worth every penny and then some!!

Not just a tour, it’s an experience
I couldn’t adequately describe the evening with Bloody Mary. If you’re in New Orleans and want more than a walking tour, consider joining Mary. Part history, part voodoo, part ghosts but all entertaining. Attended with my wife and agree we’ve never had an experience like this.

    Super Natural, Super Cool
During my New Orleans Trip I booked FOUR haunted tours, but Bloody Mary’s tour is like no other. Instead of walking around the French Quarter, we loaded up in a van and took to the streets. Unlike my walking tours, the driving group was small enough to give me the feel that I was getting a private tour. Mary drove us around to some of the coolest places in the city, which is the cemeteries. The last time I visited New Orleans I saw Ann Rice’s house. This time I saw her grave. We even got to feel a few spirits as we laid hands on one of the ornamental mausoleums, and one of those in my party claimed that “something” touched her (wasn’t me by the way). Not only did I see the eerie, mysterious places of the French Quarter, but I saw some splendid sights that the city had to offer as well. Bloody Mary’s Museum is quite a sight in itself. And to dive even deeper into the supernatural world of the New Orleans, I entered an apartment where I was given a pair of dowsing rods. I could nearly feel the hair rise on my arms when the tools actually responded to my questions. If you don’t believe in lingering spirits before this tour, you will after. There are lots of cool, spooky tours in New Orleans, but a trip to the Big Easy isn’t complete without a stop by Bloody Mary’s.

A Truly Unique and Intriguing Experience!
Bloody Mary was exceptional in ensuring that newcomers to the world of the paranormal felt completely at ease. Her approach balanced the thrill of exploring unexplained phenomena with a deep sense of respect for the spiritual realm. For those interested in delving into the paranormal, I must stress that this experience seems best suited for adults who possess a certain level of spiritual maturity. The exploration of such phenomena can, at times, be intense. If you're someone who approaches the paranormal with an open mind and a respectful heart, this tour could be a fascinating addition to your travel itinerary. Bloody Mary's skill in making newcomers feel comfortable, combined with the tour's thoughtful approach to the supernatural, makes it a unique and memorable experience.

    Great experience
So much information on history and culture. Wish we could have gone through more of the cemeteries and see it all up close. But still a great experience

    Authentic ghost experience
Bless New Orleans, because this is one of the only places you can really get something like this. We used real equipment to hunt ghosts. Very interesting experience.

If You Want A Real Ghost Hunt, This Is The Tour For You!
We had a group of 8 and we took the 3.5 hour van tour. This tour was all-inclusive and covered ghost hunts, cemetery tours (including exploring one of the tours), a history/ghost driving tour of the city and even a tour of Mary's house! She was very patient with our group and answered all of our questions. We even had some paranormal experiences! Highly recommend!

    Awesome experience!
We read such a great time on the walking tour! Our guide Rachel really knew the history and gave some really great info. We didn’t know what to expect going into the museum or the paranormal investigation but it completely blew us all away. It was so well done and authentic. Such a cool experience and worth every penny!

We had the most wonderful time
We were lucky enough to get married at Bloody Mary's by Bloody Mary in the museum courtyard. It was a wonderful experience from the first phone call to the incredible ceremony. This was a destination wedding for us and Mary was so helpful and gracious throughout the entire process. The museum is super cool and it's in a great location just across the main entrance to Armstrong Park. If you get a chance go visit and check it out.

    Close enough to Halloween
Rachael gave us the straight answers on the tour. The upstairs apartment was very….informative! I actually had “something” grab my arm, not scary but enough to know it was real. We have done 3 of these tours and this was the best one! Thank you Rachael!!

Very disappointed - we spent most of the time in the shop/museum where the Voodoo Priestess summoned the spirits and then we were supposed to communicate with them through an app that we downloaded onto our phones!!!!!! Yeah right.
We were then loaded into a van and driven around some of the cemeteries including the pauper cemetery which was the most interesting part of the tour. However when we eventually stopped at a cemetery to explore and, we thought, hear some stories about the people buried there, our Priestess told us to check on our app as those spirits we'd summoned back at the shop had probably followed us and to come back in 45 minutes. We spent 5 minutes in the cemetery, 5 minutes in the mausoleum and cut the tour by an hour.
I thought we'd walk around the city and hear some of the stories of haunted houses etc. but nothing like that was even offered. Very disappointed.

I am very sorry this tour was not what you expected, but this tour you mention above is not in the van and not offered on here on Viator so that a little confusing- nonetheless. the one you mention is a walking tour through the french quarter but you took the higher end longer VAN "ghost town tour" w cemetery . and Ghost hunt. that one is all about the paranormal experience and connection plus a city cemetery combo. The French quarter supernatural you mention above is the one & 1/2 ghost stories walking french quarter and mini ghost hunt inside so looks like you booked wrong one? But I am still sorry it was not what you expected. I do give a detailed description on line of what we are going to do on ea tour . The ghost hunt w equipment and voodoo paranormal. I guess I don't usually say summoning spirits but we open and close gates for spirit courtesy and protection, Then we use old school methods of giving them offerings, sometimes song and drum depending on the evening. so we describe what i teach as 'voodoo paranormal' then the new school paranormal is the techie stuff But we have many hand held paranormal equipment tools you use . not just apps for the 200 year old building the haunted museum ghost hunt to begin (not shop) we teach dowsing rods, k2 meters, ovulus, the interactive boo buddy wthermal thermometers and sometimes ghost box plus a play back night vision video of where we watch your journey and only 1 app for EVP word retrieval or a recording REVP machine. there are ghost stories outside 2 french quarter locations , in and around the cemeteries and we stop at my personal haunted house/voodoo house as well as though park and outside many neighborhoods. to try ot feel it all the whole experience is about connection w spirit, we do tell many many paranormal ghost experiences and seek connection. (plus history) some say there is too much history some say-not enough it is a personal. come to the museum when you visit again for free and when I am personally in or giving a tour, call and I can also get you my talking book and yes its in an APP form LOL with an hour and 1/2 of my , Bloody Mary storytelling and history . The log in to get it free are posted in the museum and shop but you may not have gotten it but i can send it, again sorry it wasn't what you thought you booked but we can always give you info of all the differences with a call or a visit to shop prior too

I signed up for both the Seance and Night Cemetary tour with a friend without really looking into what it entailed. All the events were extraordinary and there were many active spirits that came through to communicate with us and I witnessed sincere messages from beyond. Mary was our guide for both events and explained everything and answered all questions we had.
It was a truly unforgettable experience and I would suggest it to anyone who is interested in paranormal activity and open minded.
Thanks, Mary!

We took the night Voodoo and Ghost hunting tour. Our Guide Michael Bill was quite the character. Not sure any tour with him could be boring. Full of personality and funny as hell. He is a 20 year Voodoo Priest and ghost hunter. Michael Bill contacted via text earlier in the day and we met over at Laffite's Blacksmith shop. We walked the French quarter and Michael Bill regales of tales of the haunted spots. Over to Marie Laveaux's residence before we head over the the museum to ghost hunt. Michael Bill "opens the portal" to the spirit world before we go up stair for the hunt. Creepy as hell. Michael Bill provided us with different electronics to hunt the ghosts, like you see on the tv shows. Multiple people felt chills, heat cold. Strange things in strange rooms. You know "that guy" on these types of tours that is poo pooing everything the whole way. He of course got the most freaked out. I wont ruin it for you with what happend in the house we were in.

Kids loved it. Definitely reccomend!

Thanks Michael Bill!!!!

We had high hopes for this tour but it was just ok. We had a bit of a wait as our bus was late so that didn't help. This tour fell flat for us (we tour all cities we visit) as there were many missed opportunities. For example, you're on the bus for a little bit of time. During the drive, it could have been filled with a plethora of historical information related to the city and areas we passed. However, our tour guide (while nice) was more interested in sharing his connection to the masons and showing us the cemetery where he was going to be buried (the one we actually visited). The cemetery information was interesting (only allowed to go into one), but if you're looking to really get into this history of it all, this is probably not the tour for you.

Gina did an amazing job taking us to each location and giving us the perspective of a New Orleans local. Not only did she clarify the local legends from fact she also shared some of her own personal knowledge and experiences with us. If you want an insight of the real hauntings of New Orleans this is the tour for you. As far as the ghost hunting experience it truly was unique and spooky. Even my husband who can be a bit of a skeptic had his own unique experience without any equipment or trying to have an experience. If you are a fan of the paranormal and want to have a paranormal experience this is the tour for you. I will be coming back to this tour any time I come to New Orleans.

TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! The first half of this tour was great, and the person conducting it was well versed. However, the ghost hunting portion is abominable.

We expected it would be a story from 100 years ago or something, but no. What they do not tell you prior to purchasing or going through the house is that this was a murder suicide in 2006. It is a very disturbing story that stems from an Iraqi war vet having PTSD. Being there with a person who is also a Iraqi war vet, this was extremely triggering.

Also, the "ghost hunting tools" were a joke. This was very hoaky and clearly a company making money off an extremely unfortunate event that took the lives of two youthful people who should be with us today.

A very interesting place for the price, we spent about an hour here- on the self guided tour with the app. We added on the DIY voodoo dolls which was fun. A lot of energy in the museum and upstairs, my friend even caught the face of a ghost in the window of one of her pictures from outside in the back courtyard, and what I believe to be an orb in one of my pictures in the doll room. A must visit if you're in to that sort of thing.

Friendly staff at a must see location in New Orleans ! And if at all possible, ask to do the tour when Bloody Mary herself leads it - You will love it. Informative, entertaining and dare I say educational all wrapped up in the diverse and interactive tour. The museum walk-through tour is also fantastic and really good to do prior to the ghost hunting tour. Beyond glad we made time to do this and with Mary herself !

I booked this tour with the understanding we were ghost hunting upstairs. We were there maybe 20 minutes og the several hour night. When u pay $100 for a fampus haunted. Location, you should get to ghost hunt for a couple hours at least. The guide was rude several times, even scolding an a very nice older women. Way over priced for 20 minutes ghost hunting. She even told us to keep our mouths shut if we werent happy. I feel completely ripped off.
