This is an A+ experience from start to finish. Kristen spoke with me by phone and explained the tour options. She was very personable and made arrangements for our four hour private tour with Marc. Marc is a native son and has created a one of a kind tour of this beautiful city. We traveled to the many neighborhoods encompassing New Orleans and were given interesting historical highlights and insights along the way. Marc clearly loves his city and knows how to share this with tourists. I would imagine that people who travel to New Orleans do not experience many of the sights that we saw along the way. Marc also made suggestions for how to continue to enjoy the city during the rest of our stay. We are looking forward to returning to New Orleans in order to take one of Marc’s dining tours.

The City Tour was an eye opening experience. From the music and food to the architecture, we learned the history of neighborhoods, drove through parks and saw how the infrastructure has evolved in response to severe weather events. Stopping and walking around when we wanted to verses an organized schedule made the tour worth the price.

What a fabulous tour. Girlfriends and I had the best time. Marc was a wonderful guide - easy, relaxed, knowledgable of the art scene in NOLA and its history. We stopped at various galleries and met several artists, stopped at some insta-worthy street art locations for photos, then coffee. Marc was flexible and totally willing to go with our flow. We’ll do it again on our next trip to NOLA!

Booked the Private Art and Street Art Tour with Marc and NOLA DeTours over Taylor Swift weekend in New Orleans. We had the best time; Marc was a perfect Southern gentleman knowledgeable about New Orleans history and the local arts. Has a very personal connection to New Orleans and the food and art scene. Marc contacted me well before to inquire about what sort of tour we were looking for; he can curate the tour to your preferences and liking. He confirmed everything again the day before and was on time for pick-up. He is part of a storied New Orleans restaurant family, and we were so lucky to meet his gracious parents and view their private art collection. Marc is your guy if you want something unique, curated, and personal. I would also recommend this tour to anyone looking for stunning and unique photo stops or Instagrammable shots.

This tour was phenomenal! From connecting history to culture to food pairings! Marc is NOLA restaurant royalty and takes you to such special restaurants! From Napoleon, Tableau , Antoine, Red Fish, all with his knowledge of what to try at each stop. In addition, information on which specialty cocktails to choose at each stop, made the tour a celebration!! You will end with a great understanding of NOLA and , where things are, SO, start your trip in the right way and do This tour on your first day!!!

Marc was fantastic guide to all the neighborhoods we wanted to visit. Was friendly, flexible, and catered plans specifically to our interests. Local and historical knowledge second to none and added immensely to our trip, not just during our time with him, but with great insights and ideas that we used for the remainder of our trip. Plan this tour early in your trip, and you'll get lots of great ideas for your remaining visit.

Outstanding tour and outstanding guide! We are a family of 5 (2 grandparents and 3 grandsons ages 18, 17 and 17) and we engaged Marc for a 4 hour private driving tour of New Orleans. Marc was welcoming, friendly, communicative, and very knowledgeable about the city as a native and resident of New Orleans. Because he has seen and experienced the changes and growth of the city, he was able to give us his perspectives about his beloved city. Marc drove us in his minivan through most of the New Orleans neighborhoods and gave us the history and significance of each neighborhood. We stopped and spent some time at Lake Ponchartrain and also at Cafe du Monde where we ate their famous and delicious beignets. We are grateful that he took us on our requested tour of the Lower Ninth Ward where he showed us and thoroughly explained what happened with Hurricane Katrina and its devastating effects. Marc was always responsive to our questions and comments and we feel that we all got a good introductory sense of the city and its people. We highly recommend this tour!

I scheduled this trip several days in advance and credit card was charged. Arrived in New Orleans a couple days before this tour with a full itinerary carefully planned. However this tour website continued to list me as confirmed/pending despite my many checks. As I was going out for a long day’s trip the morning prior to this tour, its status remained unchanged and indefinite even up to the hour which would not allow refunds. Not wanting to have an empty day for a desired tour, I called Viator who said they had been notified it was cancelled by the operator although I had not been notified. I quickly cancelled this tour and booked another elsewhere that was wonderful. The next day this tour company belatedly emailed that the tour was cancelled.

Great experience! Not a fan of large tours, we like to be able to ask questions and have a discussion with the guide, so this was perfect. Our guide was knowledgeable, personable and friendly, as well as very helpful in getting us comfortably grounded in the area we would be spending the next 10 days in. Well done, and highly recommended!

Excellent tour with Marc to many NOLA neighborhoods! Enjoyed the beautiful architecture, landscapes and his spot-on recommendations for good food in places with character. Highly recommend.

One of our favorite excursions while staying in New Orleans. We enjoyed the information that Marc shared with us. He was fun and engaging. My advice is to take this tour when you start your vacation. He also recommends places to see and establishments to visit.

We had the best time on this art tour. From the moment we got in the car, Marc was very attentive to our needs and interests, and set the perfect pace for our discovery of New Orleans art, culture, food and drinks! We would highly recommend this tour.

We did the tour on our first day in town. Our guide took us to all the interesting neighborhoods and gave us lots of recommendations. We went beyond just the typical tourist spots and saw some real New Orleans life. The tour gave us a great foundation for deciding what we did on our next 3 days.

Marc is the quintessential New Orleans host and guide. He knows every neighborhood and all historical and fun facts of each city section. He takes you into the heart of the real New Orleans - not just down quaint streets to see magnificent architecture and gardens (and we saw lots of the beautiful neighborhoods). We saw the lower 9th ward as he told us the history and first hand experience of Katrina without political commentary. As we drove down main boulevards, Marc had suggestions almost every block of where to eat/shop/visit/chill and listen to great music. He has a wealth of information on everything New Orleans. Marc is so wonderful that you will think of him as family by the time your tour ends.

Marc was a very knowledgable guide and accomodated our last minute reservation. His tour was the highlight of our New Orleans trip.
