Overview
Soak up the beauty of New Orleans from the decks of the Steamboat NATCHEZ! On this Sunday brunch cruise, travel along the Mississippi River while enjoying live jazz music and savoring a lovely buffet brunch. This authentic paddle-wheel steamboat will whisk you away to the romance and ambiance of yesteryear. Don't forget your camera, as you'll see amazing panoramas of New Orleans' skyline!
Highlights
  • See New Orleans from a different angle on a jazz brunch cruise
  • Steam down the Mississippi on one of the last surviving paddle-wheel ships
  • Hearty brunch buffet includes a variety of Southern-style classics
  • Live jazz trio adds to the vintage atmosphere
What to Expect
Board the historic Steamboat Natchez at a convenient dock near the French Quarter, and leave the bustling city streets behind as the ship paddles onto the “Mighty” Mississippi. Stroll the decks for fantastic views, and visit the museum-quality engine room for a closer look at the ship’s antique machinery. A live jazz trio keeps the mood upbeat. Head to the dining cabin for a buffet brunch loaded with savory Southern classics, such as sausage gumbo, biscuits and gravy, shrimp and grits, and scrambled eggs. Indulge in bananas Foster, sugar-dusted beignets, or bread pudding for dessert, and order a bloody mary, mimosa, or other drink from the cash bar (see Itinerary for a full menu). If you have other dining plans, a cruise-only option is also available.

Excellent boat trip on the Mississippi. The boat was clean and narration was well done. Bathrooms were clean, Gift store was well equipped with souvenirs. Captain was visible and safety procedures were reviewed. We enjoyed our ride. The price was reasonable.

Enjoyed the 2:30PM jazz cruise sans brunch with my parents on a Sunday afternoon. We really enjoyed the sights along the way and the drinks were fair for their prices. The staff were friendly and the boat and all its amenities were clean and well-kept....More

There is a ticket booth before you approach the the boat to your right. A little round shop clearly marked opposite the Beignet Café in front of the boat entrance. You can buy it there.
