          Rain rain 🌧 didn't stop a thing.
It was a great tour even in the rain. The host was informative, knowledgeable of all of New York Boroughs, and its history.

          The best BBQ tour!
Cara D. was an enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable guide who responded to the questions and needs of those on tour with a positive and accommodating manner. The tour itself was an eye-opener to the ‘real’ New York beyond Manhattan and well worth it!

Misleading Tour and Awful Customer Service
This tour was supposed to be in Spanish but it was 80% in Italian and 20% in Spanish which wasn't very good. No where did it say in the description that it would be in two languages. The tour guide arrived 30 minutes late. The van didn't have very good air conditioning and was very uncomfortable. The tour guide ignored my wife throughout the trip and just spoke to me. The guide took us by a Christmas store, because he said "Italians love Christmas merchandise," which seems incredibly insensitive. Finally, at the end of trip the guide said he could leave us at Wall Street or take us back to Midtown, but there would be "a lot of traffic" and recommended just getting off at Wall Street, cutting the tour short. I felt that the guide just wanted to get rid of us. When I called today to request a refund, the person that answered the phone said that "systems were down" and that he couldn't talk to me, because three other calls were on hold. It's hard to express how furious I am with this company.

bus driver dropped the whole group 50 blocks away to end her working day and go home
New York at night tour was a nightmare because our busdriver dropped us off fifty blocks away from the destination because she wants to end her shift. the tour started late and becomes more late with the traffic situation so she decided with the okay of her bus the tour ends in greenwich village not at Rockefeller Center today. the tour was good but we couldn’t recommend this company.

Have another plan if the tour gets canceled.
I'm sure the tour would have been wonderful and my older parents and I were really looking forward to it. The tour was going to be great after a full day of walking around Manhattan. Unfortunately, with less than a days notice, our tour got canceled. They tried to reschedule us for a day that wasn't going to work. I understand the driver was sick, but maybe having a back up driver would have been nice.

          Comprehensive yet brief. Very good
Really good, brief, yet comprehensive overview of Manhattan. The tour guide, Erika, was so knowledgeable and gave a thorough explanation of both the historical and current aspects of this amazing city.

          Great tour, awesome guide
Mr Sergio was an awesome tour guide. He took us to several places and explained about them, he also was prepared for us with water and took us to a Cafe in little Italy where we were able to have small meal. I would 100% recommend this tour and him to anyone who is thinking about coming to New York. In my husband's words "the best decision we made"

          Overall not bad
Overall this experience was very good, first time to NYC for my honeymoon. Wife had been before. Limo was right on time, 10 mins early in fact, driver was friendly and bottle of champagne waiting for us on limo. Trip around Manhattan and through Times Square was beautiful and he waited for us as we had dinner at The View. Dinner was lovely, apart from the fact they never received our booking on their end which at the start was a bit of chaos but it all worked out. Food was really nice. They also brought an extra dessert as we were on honeymoon which was nice of them. Lastly as we were dropped to hotel i went to tip the driver and then he told me I also had to pay him $40 For the champagne, which was ok, but seemed sprung on me. Maybe going forward they can include this on the booking to avoid further confusion.

          Horrible service
We called to confirm our hotel pick up gave our location two days prior. Saturday comes we checked out of hotel, and we waited 40 mins and still no one showed up. When we called they told us they emailed me to change the pick up location and said I only had 15 mins to make it to a location 35 mins away. They ended up canceling our tour and told us we were not getting a refund because they emailed me. I’m still waiting on that email . The right thing to do was a proper refund instead of saying they sent an email. Horrible customer service. Will not recommend to anyone.

          Ok
Our guide was great. Was very efficient with his route, very knowledgeable of the area and recommended some great places to eat. I thought we were going to see some of Biscayne (from the description) but we didn’t. Then he dropped us off 16 blocks from our hotel and we “got” to walk back as part of the tour. Beware, you are haggled by every open restaurant along the way and it was HOT. There were places I’d like to see again and glad we did the excursion even if it wasn’t exactly what we thought we were getting.

          Miami city highlights tour
Did this tour on a Monday so it ended up being just the 2 of us as a private tour. Our driver Marcelo’s picked us up at our hotel on ocean drive a little after 9am in a van and the AC was nice and cool inside. He was very nice and informative about Miami city throughout the whole trip. We started at south point, then cruise through all the man made islands where the celebrities lived, and then through brickell city on the way to little Havana. We stopped at little Havana and walked around a little and tried the Cuban coffee there. We was giving about 20-25mins to walk around a bit on our own and that was enough time because it’s not a big area. After little Havana we went to bayside market and was given about 40 mins to walk around. Then after that we went to wynwood and drove around to check out the graffiti on the buildings. Our driver asked us if we wanted to get out and take pictures but we didn’t need to. So since it was just the 2 of us we finished early and he asked us if we wanted to see anywhere else in town he’d be happy to take us but we were clueless of where to go after so we just went back to the hotel. Overall it was a good tour and we had a great time. I would recommend this tour at the beginning of your trip so u can get a little familiar with the area, and hopefully Marcelo’s will pick you up

What a find -- so much more than expected!!
Booked through Viator -- looking for more that an hour bust tour of city or hop-on/hop-off voice taped experience. This was it in spades. Hotel pickup worked perfectly, guide there within 5 min of scheduled time. Spoke superb English, indicated he was conversant in Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, (some French). Traveled in a van (probably 10 person max) but we (2) were only passengers. For the next four hours we were regaled with the most interesting exposure to Miami that we could expect. He indicated that he enjoyed studying the history of southern Florida and it showed. Delivered back at the hotel 10 minutes late, but we could have spent another four hours with him. What a delightful experience. By the way, if looking for similar experience ask for Marcelo Plotnik (contacts with Viator thru Miami Sunset Transportation).

          City tour
Despite a late start this was a fabulous tour. John did an excellent job and made the tour informative and fun. It was the perfect mix of walking and driving. There were nine stops in total scheduled for the tour and none of the stops were taxing on my companions of more advanced years. It was great.

          NYC Sightseeing by coach
Stay away from Open Tours Company as far as you can. Without notifying us, they cancelled our scheduled tour set for Sunday next day after our arrival. We went to the designated gathering place indicated on our voucher. There were all kinds of tours gathering there EXCEPT ours. After an hour I called and was told I scheduled the tour for August vs July, obviously trying to blame me. I read to the agent from my voucher the date of 22 July and needless to say was incensed with the lies and attempt to blame me and it got nasty. Add the fact that the agents accent was so bad I could barely understand her. Finally got them to agree to schedule the tour for the next day which meant I had to rewicker our 5-day itinerary. They certainly made it clear they would not reimburse me. Fast forward to next day. Our so called “coach” consisted of cramming 13 people into a older van so cramped, people were overflowing into one another. The step into the van was so high, I with “short legs” could not board from the side. Where’s the step stool?? Driver totally ignored me, couldn’t have cared less. I had to resort to boarding at the front passenger side door and climb back into the van. If you were unlucky enuf to sit in the middle section of the van, you could see nothing, not to mention the stale air! It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The guide “Deborah” was fantastic, too bad she was completely overshadowed by all the misery. Wouldn’t recommend these people to my worst enemy...$207 down the drain!

        Mar 2019 • Friends
L'hotel è il Night Time Square.
