Hamilton's Haunts and Hangouts Walking Tour Including Tavern Visit
From US$ 30.00
Overview
See New York City through the eyes of a Founding Father on a 2-hour Alexander Hamilton walking tour that begins at his grave, and ends at his favorite bar. Hear stories about Hamilton’s life and death as you explore Zuccotti Park, the New York Stock Exchange, and Wall Street.
What to Expect
Make your way to Trinity Church, where this tour begins, close to New York attractions and public transport. Learn how Hamilton arrived in America just before the Revolution, then quickly gained influence in the young country, and visit Zuccotti Park, the onetime site of Occupy Wall Street.

Trace Hamilton’s career through his role as the first Secretary of the United States’ treasury, and find out how it gave birth to the New York Stock Exchange. Look across the street to Federal Hall, where Hamilton saw George Washington sworn in as the nation’s first president.

Take in a pair of Wall Street skyscrapers that recall the deadly rivalry between Hamilton and Aaron Burr—including one that’s emblazoned with the name of Donald Trump. This tour concludes at one of the oldest bars in New York City, where Alexander Hamilton used to drink with George Washington, and where you can raise a glass to the Founding Fathers.

A great way to see Downtown and learn about Hamilton

Being fans of Hamilton the Musical, this was an obvious choice for us, however what we didn't bank on was all the other fascinating stuff we would learn about. 2 hours that were the highlight of our trip.

Rainy day did not hamper our fun. Saw parts of NYC I didn’t know about. Learned about Hamilton’s influences as well as his flaws. Sheli was a great guide. Highly recommended!

We had the best time! My husband and I were on our yearly anniversary trip to NYC to see a show, and we squeezed in a tour all about Hamilton! This was awhile ago, back in February, but I’m the worst about writing reviews, and...More
