Hamilton's Haunts and Hangouts Walking Tour Including Tavern Visit
US$ 30.00
Overview
See New York City through the eyes of a Founding Father on a 2-hour Alexander Hamilton walking tour that begins at his grave, and ends at his favorite bar. Hear stories about Hamilton’s life and death as you explore Zuccotti Park, the New York Stock Exchange, and Wall Street.
What to Expect
Make your way to Trinity Church, where this tour begins, close to New York attractions and public transport. Learn how Hamilton arrived in America just before the Revolution, then quickly gained influence in the young country, and visit Zuccotti Park, the onetime site of Occupy Wall Street.

Trace Hamilton’s career through his role as the first Secretary of the United States’ treasury, and find out how it gave birth to the New York Stock Exchange. Look across the street to Federal Hall, where Hamilton saw George Washington sworn in as the nation’s first president.

Take in a pair of Wall Street skyscrapers that recall the deadly rivalry between Hamilton and Aaron Burr—including one that’s emblazoned with the name of Donald Trump. This tour concludes at one of the oldest bars in New York City, where Alexander Hamilton used to drink with George Washington, and where you can raise a glass to the Founding Fathers.

We found that, while it was fun to see the Hamilton sights, the tour mostly just retold the story told in the musical, without adding any new information. Also note that the $30 tour price does not include a drink at the Tavern. The tour...More

Our guide was Elaina and she was awesome! We learned so much and by the time we attended the musical that evening, we felt like Hamilton experts. It added so much to our understanding of the musical to have all of his back story. Highly...More
