    What to Expect
Your tour of the Meatpacking District kicks off in the Chelsea Market, which is known for its diverse food shops filled with savory and sweet treats. You'll hear the history of this popular attraction that was once a Nabisco factory and sample baked goods while you do some shopping.
Next, you'll head up to the Highline—a 1.45-mile (2.33 km) park that was built on an elevated train line that's no longer in use. You'll hear about the controversy surrounding its development and take in fantastic views of the West Side on Manhattan.
After a stroll through this popular park, you'll head into the heart of the Meatpacking District. See the Gansevoort Hotel and the Whitney Museum of American Art before walking past several high fashion flagship stores and some trendy bars.

Patrick was engaging and fun. We learned a lot about the history of the area, and about the neighborhood as it exists now. We never had the opportunity to sample any treats, but we still enjoyed the tour.More

Yes this tour included many delicious treats from the Chelsea markets. I don't know that I'd call deep fried oreos a treat; more of a once in a lifetime experience and they contributed to the overall impact of our walking tour of this amazing space...More
