Take a 4-hour city tour of San Diego by air-conditioned coach, enjoying a chance to admire the city’s beautiful coastal landscapes, antique architecture and lush parks during your visit. It’s a great way to get an overview of the city or cover a lot of ground in a short period of time.
Start your visit in either the morning or afternoon (depending on the option selected) with a pickup from your hotel or the city’s Kettner Boulevard. From there you’ll continue by air-conditioned coach to some of San Diego’s most iconic attractions, parks and architecture. Check out the beautiful Victorian facades found in the city’s Gaslamp Quarter, then head to the city’s East Village, site of the San Diego Padres stadium, for a photo opportunity at PETCO Park.
Continue to Balboa Park, considered, home to a number of museums, gardens and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Pass by the Botanical Building, which houses a diverse collection of plants and flowers, where you can take a few photos. Then move on to La Jolla, playground of the city’s wealthy residents. The area’s cliff-strewn coastline also features a community of seals and a collection of sea caves, along with top-notch views of San Diego from on top of Mount Soledad.
Proceed to Old Town, known as the birthplace of California, where you can explore the range of restaurants, shops and historic architecture, some of which dates back to the 18th century. Those who have not purchased the upgrade visits to Seaport Village or the USS Midway will end their trip here, with a drop-off back at their hotel or Kettner Boulevard.
